Can’t wait for the next books in the series to be published!! I can’t count how many times I’ve read this book and I don’t think I’ll stop any time soon. It’s just Simply Irresistible!!!     I absolutely loved this book. From the beautiful cover to the amazing characters and the balanced plot.

    Simply Irresistible by Marlyn Love is the first book in the Irresistible series. It’s a sexy, contemporary single-parent romance that had me hooked from the first page.

    Emma Campbell, the heroine, is sweet, sassy, and independent. She is the owner of her own bakery/baking business and single mother to the most adorable six-year-old little girl. Her encounter with the hero, Nick Brown, is the perfect meet-cute where Emma doesn’t recognize Boston’s most eligible bachelor. Nick Brown is responsible, loving, funny, and not to mention every girl’s dream.

    Their chance encounter leaves them both captivated and instantly attracted to each other. As fate would have it that’s not where their story ends, multiple encounters later the two decide to explore the possibility of a relationship. Both hurt from their past heal each together.

    I really enjoyed Simply Irresistible, the characters were beautifully crafted and executed. Emma and Nick’s connection was beautiful. Their story was full of many twists and turns. I loved the suspense and drama Marlyn Loved added.

    Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this romance and recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, sexy, captivating romance. I’m also really looking forward to the other couple’s books!

    I received this novel as an ARC, in exchange for nothing, but I am leaving an honest review.

    Fast read. I love the trope single mom/dad romances. Nick's instant connection with Charlotte, Emma's daughter made my heart flutter. She calls him "Giant" and it is adorable until the day she can call him Daddy! I know *happy tears*

    But the love between Emma and Nick was heart-binding. She never blamed him for certain things that I am not going to spoil.

    If you want a novel that isn't just going to end with the MC's being together, this is a book for you. I loved how the author went into their lives and set up the next book with Cole and Alisha.

    So, lets begin with saying I enjoyed this book. Emma’s character is a hardworking, strong, single mom who isn’t afraid to speak her mind. It was easy for me to love Emma. I simple loved everything about her. She has her own baking company, that is becoming more and more successful. Her daughter Charlotte is really adorable. And I loved her two best friends.

    Nick’s character took a little longer for me to love. He is this handsome, rich, workaholic. And he just was a bit to forward for my taste. But the further I got in this read, the more I began to like his character. From the moment Nick meets Emma, he is struck by her beauty and the way she carries herself. And the way Nick was with Charlotte was just to damn cute.

    The romance and chemistry between Emma and Nick was kind of sudden. It took me a little while to get used to their relationship. But the further in this book I came, the more I began to like them together. And I definitely enjoyed how Nick became a part of Emma’s and Charlottes life.

    But although this book was definitely fun, it also had some parts I didn’t like all that much. I won’t say to much, because I don’t want to spoil anything.. But there just happens a lot in this one book. In my opinion a bit too much. There where several moments in this book, where I thought I must be nearing the end because already so much had happened to the characters. Don’t get me wrong, it was fun to continue reading.. but it was just a bit much stuff for one read.

    Overall, I enjoyed this read and am curious about the next read in the series. We already got some hints throughout this read about the next book. And I’m definitely intrigued.

    Marlyn Love has put together a beautiful love story full of passion, spice and drama.

    Single hardworking mom. Sexy millionaire. Insta love.

    Everyone who knows me knows I am not a fun of cliché. Insta love kills it for me most of the times. But did I enjoy this book? Hell, yeah, I did!

    Not only Marlyn’s writing is unique and easy to read. It flows nicely from one sentence to the next without extra flourishes or words that would make me go all like, wtf? And all this keeping in mind the author is not even a native speaker! I mean, all I can do is applaud the immense effort and the beauty of it.

    Now, onto the book.

    Like a mentioned before, insta love is not my jam, but in this story it makes so much sense I didn’t even cringe. Emma is a hardworking, independent, and strong badass woman that not only takes care of her business alone but also has a daughter. Nick is the CEO of a big company and owner of other side business, the most desired bachelor in town. But he is tired of fake relationships and is in dire need of something else.

    So, what happens when these two meet? Chemistry explodes in their faces. They weren’t looking for it, but Nick’s honesty and the way he behaves with Charlotte, make Emma melt. And I mean, who wouldn’t? And Emma’s straightforwardness is something Nick can’t resist. He is not used to a woman being this real, so of course he falls for her.

    What I liked the most about this book, though, is that outside all this story of man meets woman, they fall for each other, have tons of smex, and live happily ever after, is that it includes some extras you have to love: the emotions and the twists.

    I’ve seen other reviews where people say it’s too much; his ex, her ex, the kidnapping, etc. But for me, this is precisely what makes this story different. Yes, there’s a crazy redhead that hates Emma, but her reasoning goes beyond our FMC “stealing” her man, and the things she does… Oh my! There were a few of them I didn’t see coming and they crashed me. Not gonna say exactly what it was—you’ll have to read to find out—but this connects with the emotional part I liked in this book. This is not only about falling in love but also about creating your own family, even if it’s not related by blood, about learning to trust after being betrayed, about forgiveness! This last is not something I’ve seen a lot, and it made so soft inside.

    All in all, this was a great read, more so knowing itis the debut novel of the author. Can’t wait to see where this writing journey takes Marlyn.
