    Sometimes the best laid plans don't work out the way you want them to and this is exactly what happened to Gray and Dee. Hearts were broken in both parts but more so Gray since he didn't know the reasons why, but out of that decision came the best blessings they could ever thought of and in order to make it they had to put their feelings aside to deal with the situation, which was easy to do since they never stopped loving each other. Thank you author Kathleen Kelly, you did amazingly well in book two, I don't know what's next in this series but I'm hopefully waiting for more and if anyone haven't read this series yet then you should give it a try, you won't be disappointed, I know I wasn't ⚡🏈⚡🏈

    While this could be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend this series be read in publication date order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters set within the same universe for the most part.

    Contains subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some including adult language, steamy intimate scenes and violence such as stalking, perceived betrayal, etc.

    There are quite a few grammatical issues including misspellings, typos, incorrect word choice, etc. There are a couple of scenes that drag a little or I would consider a little redundant, but this is minimal.

    In the story, Gray, a linebacker for a fictional New England football team, and Dee, the woman who broke his heart when she left him right before he was selected to play for the local team in Boston.

    What he didn’t know, and she never planned to tell him until his career was well established, was she was pregnant. Fast forward about 5 years and now she needs to tell him in hopes that he will help their son, who has developed a rare and fatal illness unless Gray is a match and gives him a kidney … oh boy, he is going to be nuclear when finds out who is the baby’s godfather

    Dee and Gray met through a blind date set up Dee's mom who's friend's with Gray's mom. The two of them hit it off and quickly became a couple. Gray had a 5 year plan and when the unexpected happens See took off. This book is a real page turn, it's emotional and pull at your heartstrings, but at the same time you find find yourself pulling for Dee, Gray and Dawson as they navigate time apart, reconnecting and becoming a family. The epilogue at the end left me wanting more of them after the news See have Gray. I loved to see Dee, Gray, Dawson, Colt, Tyson and their parents again.

    Tackling Love, book one, was a story that I really enjoyed and couldn’t wait to read about Grayson. He was so much more serious than Colton and it was good to get to know him better. He certainly had his reasons for being focused as well as for being a bit bitter. I liked him in book one and still liked him in this book but there were times I wanted to shake him a bit.

    Diandra was another character who was a little misguided but did what she thought was right at the time. I liked how she owned up to her mistake, though. I also liked how straight to the point she was and had an inner strength, she certainly needed it.

    This fast-paced story is told from both of the lead characters points of view and that helps us to understand them better. It is also told in two time frames, now and when they first meet and dated. This back story is extremely important to the rest o& the story. There were some interesting twists in the story that had me reeling at times, I love it when that happens!

    I loved the way a character from another series by this author guest starred in this story, it doesn’t make any difference if you haven’t read that particular series but it was fun anyway.

    A light story that is easy to read and makes you feel good as well.
