I just received this book, Peaceful Pathways; 28 days of journaling and activities by Sara Heise. There are pages to color, daily mazes and word search puzzles, both of which I love. I like the sections for gratitude, inspiration and good deeds. Also for those times when depression hits there is the daily wellbeing checklist. The breathing exercises and morning, noon and evening happy meters along with foods eaten to help a person keep track and possibly eat better. This is a fabulous idea. One I’ve never seen in a personal journal before. I also really, really, REALLY like the size of the pages leaving plenty of room to write notes, recipes, special spells and anything else. The coloring pages are a big bonus. Something calming to do and neat little informative bits to go with the page.
So far I’ve spent an hour looking at this book and love everything about it. The price is very reasonable also at just $9.99. I highly recommend this book for beginners wanting to learn to keep a journal and more experienced journal users as well.

While the thought of being incarcerated is not pleasant, the activities in here are thought provoking and would be helpful.

I really love how this journal includes many different activities and prompts for each day. It goes beyond some of the typical routine tracking and adds a little more depth. I specifically enjoy how there is a "happymeter" at 3 different times of day. I think it's important to see those sorts of patterns within a day. I also really like the checklist of activities for wellness. It's powerful to see in front of you steps you've taken to add to your daily life.

This journal cum activities book stands out as unique amongst other journals. The 28 day program of different activities each day simply drags you in. As well as puzzles, etc, the health monitoring built in to the journal is a brilliant idea.
