Rock Solid: Tales of Perdition 3 Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 23 ratings

Welcome to Perdition House: a house of sin, secrets and seduction...

When contractor Jake MacKay answers a call from a mysterious woman, he flies across the country to give an estimate on renovating a former bordello. All he wants is to return home, but the place has him in its thrall and he can’t leave. Not yet…not until he’s learned the secret of Perdition House.

Landscape designer Lexa Creighton is a descendent of one of the couples who found love during the brothel’s heyday, over a hundred years ago. Lexa’s heard and accepted the family ghost story her whole life. At the onetime bordello to quote on a heritage garden design, she meets Jake, and a firestorm of lust grips them both.

To Lexa, her encounters with Jake prove the family legend, but she can’t believe long-dead ancestors are messing with her sex life, or that there’s anything more than lust between them.

For Jake, there’s more at stake than a hot, sexy weekend. Convincing Lexa that love found in Perdition is eternal has become Jake’s most pressing need.

The Tales of Perdition continue in this thrilling third instalment. Don't miss it or the next two scintillating novellas, Parlor Games, and A Breath Taken.

Editorial Reviews

Review

"...Jake and Lexa are hardworking people put in a situation that is beyond their control, and they definitely make the most of it. Faye is an interesting character with her movie bombshell clothing, but the best character of all is the house itself. It really encourages the great love scenes."Maura, Coffee Time Romance on ROCK SOLID"What began as a flippant sex romp, filled with outrageous ghostly characters from the past, surprisingly morphed into a tender love story. The author leaves little to the imagination. The oral sex scenes between these two are especially hot. I found ROCK SOLID a delightful, sexy story with very believable characters."4/5 Stars! Anna Mae Garland, Just Erotic Romance Reviews on ROCK SOLID"... a scorching romance that will ratchet up the heat. Love scenes are described in vivid detail and leave nothing to the imagination. You might want to have a fan handy."4 Stars, Kristi Ahlers, Romantic Time BOOKreviews on BUILT (the original title of the anthology)"The heat is on and never cools down."Harriet Klausner on ROCK SOLID

From the Author

Welcome to Perdition House! My haunted brothel...

The erotic saga of Perdition House begins when my heroine, Faye Grantham, inherits the family mansion. Faye wants to sell, but chooses to stay for two weeks while she sorts out her feelings for her fiancé.

On arrival, Perdition House is in immaculate condition and she falls in love with the place. As the hours move along she sees the dump for what it is: dirty, rundown, and haunted by the spirit of her great, great Aunt Belle the madam who built the mansion.

Every time Faye falls asleep she dreams the love stories of several secondary heroines: Felicity, Annie, Hope and Lizzie, each one dealing with different reasons for joining the "life" in the brothel.

All of whom still inhabit Perdition House.

These spirited ladies meddle, tweak, tease, and encourage lust, love and sex.

Keeping all the heroines and the time lines straight was quite a challenge. Faye could fall asleep, see several weeks or months go by in a spirit's story, then wake only a couple hours later to continue the contemporary storyline.

Challenging? You bet! Wildly fun? Oh yes! Sexy? Erotic? Romantic? Oh! Baby! Yes! Yes!

In
Rock Solid, the house plays a big part in the story...it's no wonder with a beginning like Perdition House Part 1.

I hope you enjoy the continuing adventures in Perdition House...because these walls really do talk...

This is a short story. Love at first touch leads to sexy times but seemed to jump over the tease and tension in the previous books. I missed it.

Bonnie Edwards handles the Perdition House series with sensitivity to the plight of women fending for themselves in the west, and a romantically sexy touch for her modern heroine.

The Perdition House series is definitely a winner.

Jake gets a late night call to come to Seattle from Florida to do some work on a Victorian house. Lexa gets a similar call to work on the gardens. When Jake and Lexa meet, sparks fly, and the previous inhabitants of the get up to mischief. Is it Jake's family curse, or the ghosts of the brothel making them feel this way??

    Cute, really really cute!

Ghosts who use the only physical connection they have to their old life play havoc with people's sex lives in the manor!

Billed as eroitca (and I've made a new shelf!) it certainly delivers on that front! Jake and Lexa get to it hours after meeting, neither can deny the attraction of the other. Will that attraction still hold when they leave?? It most certainly does!

Just over 100 pages, its a perfect lucnh break, bath tub, clear your head sort of book. Not too complicated, not major twists or turns, just a really cute, sexy read!

Its book three and I've not read books one or two, but I'd like to at some point, I'm curious about Faye, the lady of the house.
