    Phantom has been the strong & silent type forever. Yet when needed he gets the job done in & out of bed. Olivia has been raised to be a gentle Southern woman who just goes with the flow & doesn't create a scene. The fact that she didn't realize she was in the orbit of Phantom goes to show she never really grasped what was before her eyes after their first meeting. Phantom kept an eye on her for years before life intervened to bring them together. Now that she is back in his life he isn't letting go. Olivia has never ever been the main focus of a true Alpha male. She has never had a man who really listened & cared about what she had to say & felt. She has never had a man willing to risk it all for their love. The journey of their love isn't smooth but it so worth the read. As always the sexual chemistry burns the pages to cinder. Don't make plans for today except to read this awesome end to this great storyline.

    I've read a lot of Theodora Taylor, so I know I'm generally going to enjoy the love story. I know the heroes will be the right mix of romance novel dangerous, protective, and loving. I do have my favorites (two "light-skinned brothas" trying to get back to their Detroit girl and a Japanese businessman with a serious tattoo) and Phantom is added to that list.

    When we meet Phantom in Victor's story he's the rough American cousin; not as pretty as Han and not as sweet as Victor. But when he becomes the focus Phantom/Hak-kan doesn't disappoint. At all. He says all the right things and the way he loves Olivia is perfection. And I mean that by every definition. BDE, indeed.

    Olivia is no longer a background character and the way she goes up for Phantom will forever be one of my favorite things. And I'm always going to love the girl who loves cheese grits.

    I definitely wanted more time with them. There is a typical/standard roadblock before the HEA, but Hak-kan is so great that the cliche doesn't bother me as much.

    I have read EVERYTHING that Theodora Taylor has written and released and am ALWAYS impatiently waiting for the next release.
    Me waiting for the release of Phantom was no different, but BA-BE, I was NOT ready!!! WOOOOO... I want a Phantom in my life or as Olivia calls him Hak-kan. Imo this was the BEST book in the series from start to finish.
    I had a DEFINITE love/hate relationship with Victor and Dawn. They BOTH got on my DARN nerves with the lack of trust and naivety on Dawn's part. Han and Jazz...didn't sting as much, but Han was channeling Victor too much at times. But Phantom came through and shut all that noise down from jump and REFUSED to do what his Silent Triad bros had done with their women. "We will not be that couple," is what he told Olivia from the beginning. YES SIR! No lies/half-truths/holding anyone "prisoner", none of that.
    One three word sentence was the clencher for me, "Let me in."
    Simply put, Phantom and Olivia are relationship goals in my Eric voice.
    Job well done Ms. Taylor. As ALWAYS impatiently waiting for your next release.

    I hacker be read all of Theodora Taylor's books on Amazon, many two or three times, I love her writing style! I love the Victor saga. But Phantom's and Olivia's story...I'm still buzzing from it! To see Phantom's layers and transformations throughout the series, made him my hero. Finally getting Olivia's story from the Luca's and Amber's saga is just as wonderful. The strengths of love seen of both Phantom and Olivia in their story makes want to see this a movie.     There are some twists that I felt. Like felt. It hurt. The writing is top shelf and the writer takes you on a journey of love with laughter and concern and hope! Several side characters had me laughing out aloud. I loved that the story unfolds over a long period of time, feels realistic that their love is so deep. Heart wrenching back stories and many near misses meant I couldn’t put it down.
