Ruined Alphas: Why Choose Omegaverse Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 683 ratings

An omega terrorist. The pack sent to hunt me down. An impossible scent match.

The Alpha Omega Institute branded me a criminal, an agent of The Reset, the beta hate group.

The Institute put a price on my head and sent one of their best after me. He caught me, capturing a part of my soul. I don’t understand what’s happening or how, but the one thing I do know - the only way to keep us both safe is to forget we ever met.

The Reset’s next target is an alpha born into one of the most elite packs in the city. Jackson Serrano is sweet and charming, the kind of alpha any omega would want. The kind of alpha who would never want an omega like me. One fake date to put a tracker on him and they would ruin his life.

The moment we meet, everything changes. And I mean everything. He says we're scent matches. Fated mates. He wants to take me to meet his pack…

Pack… omegas… heat… alphas… all the things I was raised to fear.

Now I’m caught between a desperate hope for a pack I can never have, and the dangerous beta fringe group that wants us all dead.

Another great omegaverse novel! This is my first Amy Nova read and I loved it. This is the first time I’ve read about high-control groups in fiction. (I love that she clearly did her research! Experts don’t use the word “cult” anymore.) It is definitely a high-drama, high-stakes romance!

I am so here for the Poisonverse! I had my doubts when I learned that the authors would be changing up between books…I loved Havoc and wanted more of that style novel! (Sweet AND yet so intense!) I haven’t been impressed by other series written by multiple authors — but Poisonverse is the exception! The books share the same emotional intensity, the same vibe, voice, and tone, and they do a great job of world building and sharing characters across books written by different authors. There’s a real seamless flow and chemistry between these authors that makes the series better, more exciting and dynamic! Love it!! This is a true shared, interwoven world… not just a loosely connected marketing gimmick for authors to cross pollinate their audiences. So hats off to these authors!

I truly enjoyed this story. It was definitely full of trauma for the characters and intrigue but not as much spice as I normally see in these books. It was worth it though to read this storyline.

    Ruby

Oh, I absolutely loved Ruby. The things these omegas have experienced is pretty awful. But they come out strong. Ruby is the epitome of that. I would love to see more from her and her pack.

This whole book was like a train wreck for me…I just couldn’t look away. Told from all POV. At first, it reminded me of Pack Darling by Lola Rock, but that changed when the alpha’s took forever to except Ruby and did zero groveling. The abuse that Ruby suffered was extremely disturbing to me. This is one of those books that will haunt me for a while.

I thought it was well written and edited. I didn’t enjoy that one of the alpha’s basically acted like a male omega and was in an existing MM relationship prior to meeting their scent match. All of the alpha’s had a strange relationship with each other and this alpha/omega. I finished this book because…train wreck.

So I love the poison verse books. I’ve read all that too now. My only problem is the authors write them so differently that I got hooked on the first two and some of the others are not written as well like it just feels like there’s some sun changes that aren’t smoothly moved over into with character personal Especially towards the end of the book. And then they feel like the books and abruptly kind of like this book was it a good book? yes. Does it need a little bit of help also yes.

Great book. Although I feel that Havoc brother should know what happened to her. Also, who her pack is. He has that right and should fight for that knowledge. Also, Ruby should know the truth about her mom, Opal. If they are going to be a real pack..? Then they are owed that truth.

Couldn't put it down, though I do wish we could see the scene where the last alpha bites her. I wish we could also have seen more people react to that final video.

Absolutely devoured this book. It has all the things an angsty Omegaverse should have. I loved the relationship building with the men and amongst the men. The FMC goes through so much growth by the end of the book. The end is what dropped a star. There is no full conclusion with one of the Alphas in both their main relationship as well as with his sister. The author does have bonus scenes on Ream and I’m wondering if they might show up on there like they do with the main collaborator on this series.

I love the poisonverse, but this book left lacking spots from the plot. The relationship between Cross and Luther should have been more explored we felt this sexual tension between them for the hole book for nothing in the end, just for one phrase?! And the bond with Luther and Ruby? Nothing!! And his aura? Wtf? Nothing at all!! I understand the newsletter but we should receive a complete story not bites of it.
