I've had what you could call a very varied career including time working as a singer and appearing on TV's Stars in Their Eyes in 1997. But writing has always been a deep rooted passion.

In 2012 my family and I relocated from England to our favourite place in the world, Scotland, and we are now happily ensconced in village life. The stunning location was the inspiration for my writing career and so it's only right that it features in all of my books.

I'm a happily married mum of one with two energetic dogs who make cameo appearances in some of my books. I love writing and creating new characters and now have the pleasure of owning my own bookshop.

    I have read dozens of the biker romance type books. I gave gotten to the point I think all the authors read each others books take the story lines and just rewrite the story with a few tweaks and twists, but the concept are all the same.

    This book was very different and such a nice change.

    I did have a hard time getting into it at first, but after I got past the first 2 chapters I could not put it down.

    It is well written a fresh story line. It had a very realistic feel to it.

    I really like that Colt needed just as much saving as Ellie did. Colt was a alpha strong male but also struggled with emotions of guilt and lose and moving on after lose. It was real nice to see the human side of the biker for a change.

    This book is well worth the read.

    I hope Mrs Hobman will write Nat's and Dee's story next.

    Ellie is best friends to Chloe a woman who has found herself a MC Man, Ellie doesnt understand it as she has heard all the Bad rumors and she jumps to conclusions about people in the group she doesnt know a thing about, especially the Prez Colt. Colt can not stand the red head who constantly is talking him down and being rude at every turn yet she turns him on constantly and he figures that maybe he needs to get her out of his system by sleeping with her. Both Colt and Ellie will be surprised at the feelings that grow between them, but in the end will they be relationship material?

    What I enjoyed most about Prez is watching Colt being there at every turn to protect her from those in the other motorcycle gang, the gang that goes around taking what they want when they want it. Him also watching out for her parents and a good guy with a heart that has just been broken for a long time, seeing Ellie realize that maybe she jumped to conclusions with Colt with judging him without really knowing anything about him but learning every time they are together. Both Colt and Ellie getting a lesson in love and second chances.

    This book is great, it had its ups and downs with both Colt and Ellie but when they finally realized what was important, it could be to late. This book has a woman Ellie who is an only child and helps her parents take care of their Hotel, Colt a man who has loved an will never love again yet he starts to feel for Ellie as he hasnt felt in years and it scares him, some thugs who are out to ruin Ellie's parents Hotel and watching as Colt steps in to help, some bad MC's in the other gang who keep making life hell at every turn, A love story. If you like stories like this, then Prez is a must!

    Prez brings us bang up to date on the goings on within The Company of Sinners MC, and in particular the situation with its president, Colt. Colt is a complex character who is unable to forget the love of his life, and this affects a possible new love in the form of Ellie. Ellie needs help, and Colt is well placed to offer that help, if only she can see beyond the tattoos and motorbike.

    The story is well written, it draws you in instantly and holds you tight until the end. Once again the author has produced a great storyline, well written new characters, and storylines for previous characters as well.

    Many thanks to the publishers for providing a copy for an honest review.

    Wow this series has been awesome! I've been eagerly waiting for Prez to be released and to finally get to read about Colt the president of Cosmic MC.
    The first thing that drew me to Colt was the fact that he was a guy that took the responsibility of every thing on his shoulders. He wrongly blamed himself for circumstances out of his control this tore at my heart. Although he could be brash at times when I understood more of his story he crept into my heart.
    This is a story of finding love for a second time full of hot, devouring spur of the moment sex scenes and characters that are feisty. I loved this book so much it was emotionally charged and gripping. I wish this series could go on and on.
    Any readers who like MC books this is one series not to be missed!!

    If you are looking for a well written biker book romance this is not it, I dont think this author really knows about the biker life
    and really did not research this very much. This is the first book of the series I have read so not sure if this is the only one
    written this way, but that is the way I see it.

    Colt is the President of the club, but he never really holds church or does any club business etc, none of the characters are
    described doing club business.

    There is a conflict with another club but really not any authentic club interaction between the two clubs
    This is more just a romance between two people one who happens to faintly be in a club.

    If you want a more bike club based story there are many other better authors for this subject , Bella Jewel or Katie Ashley

    This was an average book which really is about a man who thinks he can only love his wife who passed away and just about
    loses the love of a special woman

    I enjoyed book 1... I loved book 2 and this edition just continued the love when we get the story of the Prez of the CoSMic family Colt.
    Holy moly he had a story to tell and that story was jammed packed with emotions galore! On more than one occasion this book had my heart beating like crazy and unable to read the words quick enough to find out what was happening next.
    He may think of himself as the old man of the group but this certainly does not hold him back in any way at all... fierce loyal alpha male that just needs to realise that love can be found and sometimes just weeks upon you when you least expect it!
    Lisa J Hobman has managed to write one gripping amazing MC series that I would recommend to everyone!
