Overview

Maner Siche never expected to find his pet, but when he was in a meeting room in walked a vision that was his mate. As the spymaster for the king, he thought that he'd never find the one the gods had meant for him. Discovering that his mate was older than him, and already had three children didn't bother him, even knowing that they'd never be able to have children of their own. When he found out that his mate had been hurt from previously being kidnapped, Maner knew that he would have to give Achoi the time he needed.

Achoi Nesles was shocked to find out that Maner was his true mate. He had been mated to his previous mate based on love, and to now find his true mate just after Phernuls had been murdered more than surprised him. He didn't understand what the gods were thinking. He was still trying to recover from the horrors of what happened when he'd been kidnapped.

Would Achoi be able to give Maner a chance and see that the younger man, his true mate, was just what he needed? Would his children be willing to get over the death of their Takar and allow Maner into their lives? Would Maner be able to see how wounded his new family was, and be able to help them?
