      This was a quick read and I enjoyed every minute of it. One of my favorite genres is paranormal romance, this was a great story.

      I loved the fact that Bryce and Ashlyn had somewhat met when they were younger. Years later they meet again I the same place under harsh circumstances. Bryce takes care of his mate, and vows to get revenge on those that hurt her.

      Shifter stories are my favorite and I loved this one, the characters were strong, the storyline flowed and we get an HEA.

      I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

      There is something special about shifter books that just crawls under my skin in the best ways. Protective Instincts peels back the layers of the SAA of the Dark Leopards MC, Bryce, who risks his very worth to protect and seek revenge on behalf of his Iubuta.
      Ashlyn has never forgotten the dark eyed young man from her days of being lost in the woods as a girl. When she returns to the place where she last saw him what she endures leaves her battered and violated. When Ashlyn comes to all she can sense is safety in eyes of the beast before her.
      I couldn’t get enough of these two! I want more actually, please. We need to see what happens next in the club as they continue to grow and clean up the turf.

      I love anything that Lynn Burke writes and shifters are some of my favorite reads so when she wrote this, I had to read it. And it didn't disappoint me. This story was a page turner and I fell in love with Bryce and Ashlyn!!! I wanted more, but I know these were short stories to start out with. I love shifters, I love MC so this is a natural thing for me to read! Be sure to get this and get some ice water. It's smoking HOT!!!!

      A chance meeting as kids sets the stage for a fabulous romance. The characters are well crafted, and the stage is well set. If you enjoy paranormal stories, you will certainly enjoy this one.

      The journey from phobic hoarder to (re)finding your “one"; and gaining an entire community in the process. A tad dark, and completely engrossing.
