With Christmas just around the corner, now might not be the best time to strike out on my own, but when my job offers me a paid internship in the US, how can I say no? Orphaned since the age of sixteen, being part of a family is all I dream of. To once again feel safe and cherished and for someone to understand my disability.

Does such a man even exist? And if so, am I too old at nineteen to believe in Christmas miracles?

My plans to spend Christmas in the UK fell through when I was called back home for my mother’s accident. From there, one disaster led to the next. It seemed the only thing that could turn my day around was the delightful young man seated next to me on the plane.

With a name like Heaven Leigh, he must have been sent from above.

You're just too good to be true Can't take my eyes off of you You'd be like Heaven to touch I wanna hold you so much… Can't stop humming this! Can't stop smiling! This book gave me such positive emotions, like thousands of Christmas lights! Absolute reading suggestion, if your belief in wonders is a bit too low😉

    I just love a feel good story that leaves you all warm and fuzzy by the end. This story was sweet and I just adored me some Heaven and Mason. We get the younger Heaven who has been alone in the world with only one friend after loosing his parents in an accident just a few years ago. And our business man Mason who never really had time or a want for a real relationship with anyone. Until he meets the super adorable, blonde hair, blue eyed cutie on a flight after a day from hell.

    The Christmas sweater was hilarious. The bell had me laughing. I loved the age gap. The instant attraction. No slow burns with this one. I loved me some momma Vanessa. For a shorter book it was steamy in all the right places. Just loved the connection between these two. By the way the Xmas ornaments, the ones Mase gave Evvie. Ouch. Heaven cries, I cry okay?

    This is a sweet, low angst age gap romance with lots of forced proximity. Mason and Heaven are adorable together. They might have some initial doubts but the instant connection between them is too strong for either of them to fight for long. There’s a lot of humor in this story too.

    I do wish we’d gotten to see some of them together after Christmas when they had to leave their cozy bubble and go to work. Also, I wish this had had more editing done. There weren’t typos—more like the writing could have tighter, a little more polished.

    Still, it was a charming holiday romance.

The hurt/comfort vibe was Soo beautifully written and the insta-lust was amazing. These guys collided and there was no stopping them. Their chemistry was immediately noticeable and so well written. I was not expecting the amount of spice I encountered with it being a shorter book. But dang, it was phenomenal! Easily one of my faves of 2023!
