I kind of don’t even know what to say about this book. I kind of loved it, but at the same time, there were some things that left me scratching my head. Let me start by saying that I adore what Julia Kent does. She has a flair for romantic comedy that leaves me gasping for breath and my sides aching. This book is super funny. There’s lots of laughs and scorching hot intimate encounters in this story. It’s somewhere in the connections between our three lead characters that I got a little lost. It’s easy to see Darla’s love for her family and the guilt and obligations she feels. The brotherhood between Trevor and Joe is quite clearly laid out. I just didn’t totally feel the chemistry between Darla, Trevor, and Joe. I know it’s there. I’ve seen it in later books of the series, but here it fell a little flat.

This is not my typical read, but branching out to explore new topics. Much like Darla, Joe and Trevor in this grab you and pull you into the the life like writing's of this author 3 thumbs up.. that's a good thing;!

Funny, endearing crazy and sexy with a few surprises along the way. all in all great read. I didn't know what it was about before I read it and delightfully surprised at how good this was. I can't wait to read more from this author!
