About this ebook

The last ever-loving thing I ever thought I’d become is a hypocrite.

A big, fat one.

Joe doesn’t even want me to meet his parents. Trevor’s fine with it, but only if they keep thinking I’m his girlfriend.

And only his girlfriend.

He doesn’t want that pesky little thing called truth to get in the way. Both of them are my boyfriends.

Both.

So then my mama goes and gets engaged – the woman rediscovered her hoohaw! – and I have to head back home to meet my new stepdaddy and attend her wedding.

And she wants me to bring my boyfriend with me.

Um...which one?

This is where the hypocrisy thing comes in, because I’ve never told her what’s really going on with me and my boyfriends. Funny how making that word plural ends with a hiss.

The easiest thing to do is to tell the truth, right? That’s what I’ve been telling Trevor and Joe for more than a year and a half, and now that the tables are turned on me, what do I do?

Break up with them and run back home.

I never dreamed they’d follow me from Boston back to my trailer park in Ohio.

And claim me for their own.

My sides hurt from laughing so hard. I love that the author took several of the funniest memes on the internet and turned them into things that “actually” happened to these characters. It’s not all just fun and games though. There’s some very deep soul-searching that Darla, Trevor, and Joe have to go through and they make for some pretty emotional moments. I may have been laughing to the point where I was having trouble breathing, but my heart was breaking for this trio when it looked like they might not be able to get out of their own way to make it right. I read this book as part of the box set.

Wow! This book was incredible! If you already love Darla, Trevor, and Joe, then you will absolutely LOVE this book! If you’ve never read the previous books (and if you haven’t, what’s wrong with you?), you will fall in love with them when you read this book. Julia Kent can spin a story like nobody’s business! Her characters are so relatable and you just can’t help but become invested in their lives. This book has so many moments of intense emotion, angst, sensuality, transformation, self-realization, love, and humor. It just wouldn’t be a Julia Kent book without some downright laugh out loud moments... and this book definitely doesn’t disappoint in that respect. I just could not put this book down! If you’re looking for a riveting book that will pretty much make you feel every emotion under the sun, and be happy about that fact... this is the book for you. Read it now! And, if you haven’t read the other books in the Random Acts series, grab those too. You won’t be disappointed. Trust me. * I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Julia is one of my favorite authors. So needless to say I start this series with her and Darla, Trevor, and Joe. I loved it from the beginning. This book is continuation of their story of 3. Darla is great because she isnt your usual boring and quiet bbw girl. she is smart, funny and tells it like it is. I have to say I loved trevor from the chicken scene in the first book and joe has grown on me. I was happy to hear of this next book and loved it. Julia's writing is funny when it can be and serious when it has to be. I was dying to find out how they tell all their families about their relationship and was glad it finally came out and eventually with its HEA. Here is hoping there is more to come from this whole crew. Great job as always Julia.....
