Lona Marie’s passion for writing stems from years of writing in personal journals. Her first published book of poetry, “Unique Loner – Journalling My Life," was an unexpected adventure, into the world of publishing.

She is proud to be one of the co-authors with 13 other inspiring women in, "RISING: in Worth, Wealth & Wisdom."

Born in Australia, Lona has ventured between what she calls two homes, New South Wales and Western Australia. After navigating her way through the pitfalls of being a victim of abuse and riding a roller-coaster of survival, Lona shares her experiences and emotional vulnerabilities with the creativity of words. Her struggle to find her authentic self drew her to writing, which has led her to her uniqueness in poetry. More solo books are on the horizon for 2024.

Her dream is to spend more time in her newfound authenticity with her husband of 23 years. She is an immensely proud mother of three wonderful adults.
