E.M. Shue is an Alaskan award-winning romance author. She writes in many different sub-genres but always features badass heroines in gritty situations. As the mother to three grown daughters and two granddaughters she wants readers to be able to see that tough girls can have happy endings too. She is married to the love of her life of over twenty-five years who she married within months of starting to date, instalove is real.

    Reaper and his wife have had a rough time for sure. He found her again only to have her taken from him after finding some happiness with each other a second time. Love this Alaska chapter of the DHMC. SO much tragedy and heartbreaking moments but also some special ones for this bunch.

    Reaper is determined to get his wife back and prove to her that he only left her for a short period of time only to protect her. When he finds out that she is in danger and in Alaska, he heads out to get her back and show her that he meant what he said when he promised he wouldn't ever leave her.

    River "Jinx" is alone again and determined to keep it that way. When she finds out that her husband has come to Alaska to get her back, she's determined to fight him and keep her secrets, but fate has other plans for both of them. When she finds herself in danger, she finally lets Reaper in to help her and protect her.

    I love this story and the Devil's Handmaiden MC books. Jinx and Reaper have a very dark story, but when they finally get back together they will do whatever is needed to protect their family and loved ones. I can't wait for more from the Alaska chapter of the Devil's Handmaidens to come.

    This is the second book in this series however there is another book that you should read before this one. Off Balance is the beginning of Reaper and River/Jinx’s story. The timeline of Rattled overlaps with the first book in this series a bit. Reaper and Jinx met and are quickly forced into a difficult situation. The two are attracted to each other right away. But, their forced by their situation to move their relationship very fast. Now they are reconnecting and have secrets. Jinx thought that she had lost Reaper but he had his reasons for walking away. Now those reasons are no longer keeping him away. If anything, they are the things that have him running back to Jinx. Can Jinx give Reaper a second chance? Can she risk her heart again? Reaper knows he has to earn his second chance with Jinx. Knows that she worries he will leave again. He isn’t going anywhere ever again. He will do whatever he has to earn a second chance with her. He knows she has gone back home and that he will have to move there to have that second chance. He is going to lay everything bare to her. I am loving these characters. I can’t wait for more books in this series. E.M. Shue is a fantastic author and I love her books. Great job E.M. Shue. This is the second chapter of the Devil’s Handmaidens MC series I have read. I am love them both.

    This is an intense read. Please note the triggers. It’s worth it though. I loved the wrap up of Reaper and Rivers story.

    This is an intense second chance motorcycle romance. Many pieces that were set up in previous books are wrapped but new problems and villains are exposed.

    This was a gripping ride. I couldn’t put the book down. Reaper’s drive to protect River and her club will make you swoon. He’s an over the top protector on a mission.

    River despite her reservations slowly let Reaper back into her life.

    I’m looking forward to more of this series.

    What a page turner! I loved reading the rest of Klay and River’s story. Both of them are suffering the consequences of Klay leaving River from Off Balance. Without giving much away, all I can say is there are alot of surprises headed their way. From Klay coming back into River’s life to River and how she is just a bada** woman. The chemistry is definitely still there. She goes through a lot in this book. Don’t forget the brooch from Off Balance that River found in Pandora. What does this have to do with anything? Wait til you find out! How will everything go down? Will Klay redeem himself and prove he can be the man for River? Will River allow Klay back into her life. How will everyone react to Klay and River being married-especially her best friend? When a few things happen to River, will Klay be able not only get to her, but be able to protect her from further harm? What happens when Snake reappears in the picture? Can he be taken down for good? What an ending! This book had me reading it in just a few hours because I couldn’t put it down.
