The first book in the new Brilliance Trilogy Series just knocks it out of the park as it is one spellbinding read reminiscent of author’s The Secret Life of Amy Bensen Series. Aria is on the hunt for her missing brother Gio. In order to search for him, she must reenter a world that she should have stayed away from, that of the elite. However, sometimes life throws a monkey wrench into the best laid plans and fate steps in to meet the one who is in a position to help. Kace is a violin virtuoso who is immediately captivated by Aria and her wealth of knowledge. The two have an intense connection but each one is hiding secrets. How will Aria feel when she learns a truth about the man she is falling for? The story ends in a cliffhanger that leaves more questions that need answers. This is one well written storyline that sucks the reader in from the beginning as one can hear the melody playing throughout each and every page. All I can say is bring on book two ASAP! I volunteered to read a copy of this book and all opinions are my own.

    The search for Aria Alard's brother Gio leads her into the elite, upper crust world of buying and selling treasures, antiquities and pieces of history. Everything comes with a price though and she's caught up in what seems to be more than one web of intrigue. Call it fate, Karma or serendipity, it's in this world she finds Kace August. The wildly talented and successful bad boy rebel with a violin and a smoldering potency about him that leaves no doubts. He want Aria. As Kace nudges Aria towards her truth he seems to intuitively know her beneath the façade. After years of hiding in plain sight maybe it's time for her to live again and make all her own choices but is it really intuition? Because Kace seems to have windows into her past and windows into her soul.

    You need to pick up A Reckless Note. I could not put this one down. You are so drawn in from the start that the world around you just fades off into the background. The mystery behind Aria makes this such a brilliant read. I can't wait to find out more about her as this trilogy goes on. Kace really intrigues me since he too is a bit of a mystery. At one point he makes you wonder who he really is even with his relationship with fan favorites of Chris and Mark. Yes there are several of Lisa Renee Jones favorite characters that make appearances that you will just love. Aria is such a strong female. She knows something is going on that is carrying over from her families past. That is one thing I can't wait to see unravel. I love the chemistry between Kace and Aria. There is such a mystery, so many secrets and danger lurking and It is just the start of a new series. I can't wait to see where Lisa Renee Jones takes us on this ride.

Her new book, Reckless Note, book one of the Brilliance Trilogy is no exception. By the end of the first chapter, I could not put the book down, staying up to finish it.
    Aria has an innocence about her and I sometimes felt she was among wolves who would hurt her. As she begins to know rock star Kace August, she begins to let her guard down.
    Alert: Aria and Kace’s story ends in a cliffhanger, and thankfully Lisa does not leave her readers hanging for very long. Part two releases August 18 and Part three on September 22.

    Above all, these new characters Kace and Aria have locked down my heart. Two people that meet each other and instantly connect. She’s hiding secrets and he has his own secret but they are falling hard in love with each other. Oh my heart.

    I love this book and I can not wait to read the next book in this series. Was I a little upset about the cliffhanger? Yes, but I would except nothing less from Lisa Renee Jone.

    Bravo on this wonderful read.

    It took until about Chapter 19 before I could get into it. I liked the story but I didn't like how long it took for somthing to grab my attention. I gave it 5 stars because of the story line and I knew with Lisa that it would eventually get to the parts of the story without all of the descriptive parts. I knew I would need to read to the end of the trilogy just to complete the story.

    I loved the story of Kace and Aria along with all of the twists and turns to know that the love they share is endless.
