    I finished this is about 24 hours!! This is a retelling of little red riding hood where the grandmother is the bad guy and The Wolf is definitely the hero! Blanche has had a hard upbringing and so has Zeev, surprising circumstances bring them together when Zeev is doing a little investigating on the grandmother. This is pretty much instalove which didn’t mind at all, throw in a mafia aspect and I’m ALL OVER IT!! I liked that the book had an actual story and wasn’t just spice scenes and we got to know the characters even in a short amount of time.

    This little red riding hood retelling had me from the beginning. It's a mafia romance in which Blanche is supposed to take over even though she was kept in secret of her families doings. Zeev has saved her from captivity and now together they must become the new bosses.

    I really liked this retelling and can't wait for more from Nichole Ruschelle.

    This is a tough review for me. I liked the plot but i couldn't really connect with the characters.
    I found the writing a little "curt", as if it wouldn't flow as it should. I am not saying that the writing was bad, the premises were good but something was off.
    Also i found some instances a little OTT for the plot.
    The romance was steamy and the characters were OK.
    I suppose this is one of the first works of this author. I would like to read one of her future books.

    First off Blanche is a fighter. She went through a few losses at a young age. Jump to 20 years later. She was going to see her sick grandmother and her life changed again that day. Weeks later she was able to get away and she met Zeev and they were inseparable. A lot happened to them but they survived. This is a great book

    Sultry, thrilling, quick read. This little novella is a Red Riding Hood reimagining. Blanche followed her dreams of becoming a baker, little did she know that wasn't the plan her family had for her. This plan sends her right to the wolf looking for revenge. I enjoyed this book it is a quick read but it's still action packed and spicy!!!

    The characters and their relationship was so good. Zeev was possessive and caring. Blanche was an awesome heroine. She rolled with the punishes and just got on with it.

    Love these retelling books!  This is the story of Zeevs and Blanche. It’s a love at first sight/stalkerish read.  I loved how quick paced the book is and it kept me on the edge of my seat.  The chemistry between these two characters is high and the story was great.  I can’t wait to read another of these stories!
