This story is about 29 year old Olympic athlete, Emerson Thorne, and 40 year old single dad, actor & producer, billionaire, Nate Crawford. Emerson is the live in nanny for Nate’s daughter, Brooklyn, therefore she is off-limits to him even though he finds her attractive. We also learn that Nate was Emerson’s childhood celebrity crush, so right away you can feel the tension between them. In the beginning Nate is very distant and cold towards Emerson, only communicating with her via email. However, when Emerson has enough of this and tells him so, we start to see a slow shift in their interactions and relationship. I truly enjoyed how their mutual love for Brooklyn and wanting to do whatever to protect her is what ultimately had them each seeing the other in a different light. And my heart, oh my heart! The way she’s included and made to feel special by both her dad and Emerson was just perfection! When these two MC’s FINALLY let their walls down around one another we start to really get a glimpse at their individual personalities, and man oh man does Mr. Nate Crawford have one filthy mouth!! This one, phew Jenna knows just what she was doing here! 🥵😮‍💨 My little Swiftie heart was also left very happy with all the subtle references, and one massive scene, involving one Dr. Taylor Alison Swift.

    I couldn’t get enough of this couple. A billionaire, movie star boss who is enamored by his live in nanny, who is a highly decorated Olympic athlete! These two have an electric connection that had me giggling, swooning, and falling in love with this story almost immediately. But then add a fake engagement to the mix and this story and I was a goner! Loved it!!

    To start with, I am all in for this new series. This book can be read as standalone story. The author Jenna has done a great job building her universe of characters.

    Here’s the reason I loved reading this story. It’s more than a love story. It’s a story about fathers loving their daughters and trying their hardest to make the best decisions for them. The emotion we get from the complex relationship Em had her with dad was realistic and heartfelt. Nate did everything he could to keep his daughter’s life safe and stable. Granted not everyone has to set up a fake relationship lol. The ending was great and suited the story. Em was a strong capable woman who recognized a likeness in Nate. Especially when it concerned Nate’s daughter.

    This book was meat and potatoes, not giving us meaningless chapters. The chapters help build up the attraction and longing of our characters so when it finally combusts we are ready for it.

    I loved how Nate was portrayed.  He puts his daughter first before everything else and the way he advocates and supports Em and her goals had me on the floor in a melted puddle. Em and Nate were wonderful together, but just as equally wonderful was Em and Brooklyn’s relationship, Taylor Swift fans will adore their obsession.

    I totally fell in love with Nate and Emerson. This age gap, nanny, fake engagement, single dad was the perfect amount of spice, sass, and banter. While it was a slow burn at the beginning the sexual tension, attraction, chemistry, playfulness and devotion and respect that Nate and Em developed for each other was a chef’s kiss.     I've got to admit I'm a sucker for age-gap single dad romances but Reputation is so much more. 🥰❤️

    Nate has always been a little bit gone on Emmy since he first saw her on the yacht, but he holds back knowing he wasn't ready to be in a relationship, but when they get together, albeit fake (to begin with...😏), it is so worth it!

    After reading Knox and Kendall's story, and seeing the little hints here and there about Nate and Emmy's story (especially Emerson's crush 😏), I couldn't wait to read this book and although this time around is actually a reread for me, it doesn't make it any less special. Nate, Emmy, and Brooklyn, make such an adorable little family; the scene where Emmy is on the edge of her seat mouthing the words at Brooklyn's performance had me melting, I can definitely see why Nate said he fell at that point. 🥰
    You do wait a little while for the spice, but the build up, oh my god, is it worth it... Yes!!

Their relationship is beautiful, we get to see it blossom, and are rewarded with later scenes that makes your heart melt! Lastly, we've got to have a very special mention for "Nate's Version" and "Em's Version" 🥰, Swifties will love how Hartley interweaves the characters love for Taylor into important moments, not to mention the karaoke 😏😌.

    This storyline has amazing characters, you will laugh, cry and cheer this couple onward.     I’m touched by how well this author captures your attention when these two come face to face with their bantering and both being so strong willed. It’s a slow burn romance however that’s to be expected when there is a fake relationship happening that leads into so many problems. The fun begins for these two when stuck with only one bed to sleep in. Then the steamy romance kicks off and love is found.

    This is my second book from this author and I’m in love with the way she writes her story. Another book of hers has sucked me in from the beginning and I can’t get enough of Nate and Emerson.

    This story’s ending will bring you to tears. It’s a very moving and heartwarming touching ending. As always Jenna did not disappoint in her story as I wanted more of Nate and Emerson’s happily ever after. I loved this series!! I can’t wait to read more of her books.
