A Daddy for the Rescued Omega (Daddies For Dumpster Omegas Book 2) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 361 ratings

Recently rescued after years of captivity, Murphy tries to navigate his newfound freedom. Nothing is like what he knew. His brother Blaze is happily married, and he feels so... lost in this world.
And Blaze's former mentor, Shaw? Shaw is now guarding him around the clock. He's seeing things that Murphy would rather keep hidden.
He's seeing Murphy at his weakest, when Murphy has flashbacks and episodes.
What's more, he's holding Murphy through them.
Murphy has never had a relationship, and he has completely no idea what to do with these feelings that are starting to blossom in his chest.
His new friends are a bunch of helpful dumpster rats with too many suggestions about what he
can do, but they don't help with the butterflies in his stomach. At all.
( light daddy/boy, caring/protective daddy, no age-play )

A Daddy for the Rescued Omega is an 82k-word nonshifter bodyguard, daddy/boy romance with eventual MPreg, age gap, hilarious friends, fun friend chats, and multiple ruts. No cheating, but there is definitely a HEA!

Hello! Thank you for wondering about me; I'm a funny, sausage-loving goofball with a surprisingly tolerant husband (his ghost, now!) When I'm not busy writing (which is very rare), I haunt grocery stores and stuff my freezer with my favorite food.

I've been scribbling since I was fourteen, and I believe that everyone needs a safe place. My dorky guys fall in deep, devoted love, the way Huz showed me a person can be loved, and every book is guaranteed to end in a HEA.

I love this series! The gang is back together. I've missed them. This book focuses on bodyguard Shaw and his charge, Murphy. I won't repeat the blurb. Suffice it to say that this book has triggers. The past trauma is not gratuitous. There are the loyal dumpster omegas, protective alphas, and a threat from the past. There are also humor, sex toys, heats, ruts, really hot sex, and not one but two weddings complete with contractions. This book covers the trauma in a sensitive, non-judgmental manner. It will not offend anyone. You are simply gonna love this book!

Having been freed from traffickers and returned to his brother, he only now feels safe with Shaw, the bodyguard. Shaw doesn't see him as damaged and wants to keep him safe and loved.

I am so happy that Murphy gets his much deserved HEA. I liked that he started making friends and that he wanted to work to support himself. Shaw couldn't have been more perfect. He took his time showing Murphy that not all Alphas are bad. I also liked that he didn't pressure Murphy in any way and let Murphy become comfortable around him. The plot was pretty low angst with only a hint of Murphy's past showing up. I enjoyed the texting chats between the dumpster omegas and also the chats between Shaw and his friends. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

First side eye for the beginning. How are you openly being smexy in the kitchen when your just rescued brother is home. And you know horrid things happened to him. Then you don’t even stop when he runs out the room triggered.
Now that’s off my chest. The boom was ok. It wasn’t what I thought it would be. Not so much Daddy. I’m happy Murphy found his people and got his alpha. Listen to the author when she says this book doesn’t dive deep cause it doesn’t. Everything is more on the light side including the “suspenseful” part. The writing was ok, the smexy was nice. I love knots and claiming bites. The diversity was zero.

In the warmth and closeness of a hug, a traumatized boy is uplifted by one who is to be his man. His Alpha man. Ashe grows into his adulthood, his instincts guide his heart. It’s encouraging for all who think themselves weak.

4.0 out of 5 stars Another fun odd read from Anna

I will never understand how Anna's mind works, nor do I want to. Lol

Anna always brings us two main characters with flaws, or so they think. Murphy is a rescued omega who had been kidnapped for six years, and Shaw is an Alpha hired by Murphy's brother Blaze to protect him, that was until Shaw developed feelings.

I love the term Dumpster Omegas for omegas who think they aren't good enough for society. But have so much to offer especially love. Although there are some triggers, this is another fun/odd omega verse book. Never a dull moment.

Great story, age gap, omega/alpha, male pregnancy, and of course, our HEA. This book has a few triggers, so read the warnings first.
