She is sto much stronger then she gives herself credit for, and luckily those around her see that and do everything they can to strengthen, encourage, and love her. They are the courage she needs to face each day, the wings she needs to allow her heart to once again soar, and the hope she is seeking to allow her to see the dawning of a new day. Loving friends like Mark and Elaine show her with each step that she is more then she thinks she is and that she can become the woman that she knows is waiting to break free from within. Meli Raine continues to amaze and astound me with her highly creative and deeply emotional masterpieces. I am unable to read one of her stories and not feel with my soul and listen with my heart to the beauty and the truth that lies within her words of hope and challenge. Her stories are truly soul searing in their simple yet powerful messages of true, unfaltering love and unabashedly honest hope. WOW! Seriously WOW! I have no idea where to start... Revenge by Meli Raine is the second book in the Coming Home Series and begins where Return, the first book left off. This author has written an amazing story that captures you from the cover and keeps you imprisoned until the very end leaving you with too many questions... but no answers. Ms. Raine has a way of sucking you into the story and you find yourself on the edge of your seat all the while turning the pages to see how the story unfolds. Revenge is an unforgettable, intense, incredible, and painful, second chance story that has the reader intrigued, consumed, and mystified. This book has every possible thing you want in a book... angst, romance, abuse, drama, suspense, mystery, murder, secrets, lies, heartbreak, with many twists thrown in... and of course, some hot, sensual, steamy sex. A definite must-read! I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. And honestly... once you start reading Revenge, you won't want to put it down.
