Lucy Appadoo is a prolific author who writes contemporary romance novels and romantic suspense novels about strong women who manage adversity with strength and heart. She is the author of the contemporary billionaire romance series alongside the Friends in Crisis and Women of Strength Series in the romantic suspense genre.

After a childhood spent reading and imagining escapist worlds, Lucy has put her imagination into stories. Her work as a rehabilitation counsellor, and former work as a counsellor in private practice, have led to an interest in writing inspirational stories about authentic, driven women who struggle with a new love interest or stalker.

Lucy’s interests include plotting the next love story, travelling for fun and inspiration, researching crime stories and news to inspire her work, watching romance and suspenseful movies, reading, meditating, and spending time with friends and family. She also appreciates her Italian background, which has inspired her to write imaginative stories about her parents’ childhoods that have led to The Italian Family Series novels.

    Luca and Dalia are two very different types of people.I enjoyed reading Risk To The Heart. Once I started reading this book, I didn't want to put it down.

    If you love steamy romance then this is the book for you. Dalia is an engineer and just landed her job in her field finally, but little did she know that she would be working for the Ice King. Luca has high ambitions and never had time for office romance..until her met Dalia. They try to deny their feelings but it soon becomes to much for either of them.

    The start of the Billionaire Romance series hang on once you start you won’t stop till the last page has been turned with an overprotective billionaire and the one who captures your undivided attention. Dalia is sweet with a touch of spice she has worked hard to obtain a job that she is proud of in her field needing a chance to show what she has and when she obtains that job, she can’t keep her happiness to herself but her boss now that is another story he is cold to her warmth making her question accepting her dream job. Luca sexy as all get out billionaire who has worked hard as an entrepreneur rising to the top never imagining it would lead him to the path, he walks expecting everyone around him to have the same drive as him, by standards a true workaholic but along the way he learned to lock all emotions down never wanted to open himself up to feel learning women saw his status before him. But his latest employee wakes something up in him the feelings he has kept so locked down are now fully awake placing him in unfamiliar territory, but learning to work with her draws them closer to one another, the closer they grow the more they learn about one another, and learning they are more alike than different but will they be honest about their feelings with one another, will they learn that they have the same goals, will their newly formed friendship remain a friendship or will their issues get in the way, and can their be happiness for these two bullheaded individuals?

    I enjoyed reading Risk To The Heart. Once I started reading this book, I didn't want to put it down. The characters are great and the storyline hooked me from the start. I don't want to spoil this book for anyone so I won't go into details. Please read the book blurb for some information. I recommend reading this book. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
