“I choose you. Wherever you are, that’s where I want to be.”Grady and MaggieIts my first time to read something from the author and I am definitely pleasantly surprise. I'm usually anxious because sometimes, even when the blurb is gripping the actual story is not... but this, I loved it and enjoyed Grady and Maggie as their story unraveled page after page.Its about a rockstar/popular singer/songwriter who wrote a very popular song about his "ex" (Maggie)... this happened years ago but now he's goi g back to his hometown to sort of arrange his life and find his musical muse again only to fins himself running for Mayor, the same position his ex is running for re-election...Its swoon-worthy, s3x¥ and heartwarming. I recommend reading this!

    I enjoyed Rival Hearts. Sad that Grady and Maggie wasted so much time being together due to assumptions and misunderstandings. Not only did they miss precious time, it also caused a rife in the families. They were competing against each other for Mayor in the beginning but their feelings overruled everything else until tragedy struck and they needed to find their way back to each other and trust in their love for each other. Looking forward to reading more from this series.

    So many lies, will they ever be exposed and forgive? Grady has come back to his hometown to find out Maggie is running for Mayor again. He decides to give her a run for her money. The sparks fly whenever those two get together and oh my does it get hot. Gave me butterflies and stomach flutters. Absolutely loved it!!!

    Maggie Sullivan the small town of Little Falls' pharmacist is nearing 30 and though has had her hook ups and sessions she has never found anyone to measure up to her first love. But he left after taking her virginity to claim his stardom with his music singing and writing talent in LA. That was almost 12 years ago and now at her best friend's birthday party Maggie is surprised to hear his voice again when he strums a tune. A lot of resentment and animosity remained even now between them and also his brother, Trent, who went to prison for dealing drugs. Maggis is further stunned when she learns that the handsome Grady to whom she is still chemically attracted has bought an old house in town and is running for her job as Mayor. That is, her part time job. A slow burn ensues though these two are really soul mates and one only wonders how on earth they stayed single waiting silently for each other all these years. Maggie is gorgeous but they don't couple until into the second half of this lengthy book. It's a pleasant read and the sex is good. Received this arc and have voluntarily reviewed.

    As I was reading the new novel by Wendy Million titled Rival Hearts I was wishing she wrote a series instead of a standalone because I definitely wanted to spend more time with these characters in the small town of Little Falls.  Well, imagine my surprise when I got to the end of the story and found out that this is indeed the first book in a brand new series. It’s called Little Falls Series - Small Town Romance! It was mentioned at the beginning of the story but I was in a hurry to get started and totally missed it.

    This book is about Maggie Sullivan and Grady Castillo. Maggie is the Pharmacist and  Mayor in town. She is running unopposed until Grady decides to throw a wrench in her plans. Grady is a singer songwriter that won a singing competition and left town never to return. Rival Hearts is a small town former friends to enemies to lovers romance with mid-level open door steam/spice. There are also discussions of parental death and grief. I didn’t mind the open door scenes or the parental death and grief. It is a part of life and I think Ms. Million handled it well.

    I think I have read every book that Wendy Million has written. The first series I read by her was the Donaghey Brothers Series. I didn’t think I would like that series but I loved it and devoured every book. Now, I don’t need to know what the series or book is about. If Wendy Million wrote it, I’m going to read it. She has always delivered a great story that held my interest with characters I could care about and feel like I knew.

    Her storylines are top notch. I especially like the male characters. I think most women would like a man who protected their women like these guys do. Even if protection isn’t needed, they fiercely love their woman. I don’t know about you but that makes me swoon just a little bit.

    If you love a book that gives you a good storyline and characters and you haven’t read anything by Wendy Million yet, I don’t know what you are waiting for! If you have read her books, then you will definitely want to check out her Little Falls Series - Small Town Romance! Rival Hearts is a book I won’t forget anytime soon.     A man pines for his brother’s girlfriend but later leaves town, blaming her for destroying his family. The book centers on their race to be mayor of their hometown. Secrets are revealed, which changes relationships. There are some emotional and funny moments.

    It's a very nice small-town romance with enemiies-to-lovers and second-chance vibes. I liked the story: however some elements of the book caused frustration that I could not overlook with the charaters, however it did not impact the enjoyment and experince of the book.
