My list of requirements for my ideal man is long, but not that specific.
Except for a few things: he has to like cats and high fantasy.
I’d like him to have a fantasy-hero name.
And he really needs to know what he’s doing in the bedroom.
So when this handsome, awkward guy spills coffee on me in the apartment elevator, I have no idea that he could be the ideal man i asked for.
Once I’m finished being angry, I feel a little sorry for Alaric.
As I get to know him, I start to like him.
And then I wonder if he could be the answer to my love spell.

ALARIC:
I’m used to being seen as an outsider.
Weird. Computer geek.
I blame my name. And then I blame myself.
Who else gets to their mid-thirties without ever having been on a successful date, much less finding someone to love?

    While enjoying a girl's weekend, Rochelle and her friends, decided to end a magical weekend by casting a love spell to bring the perfect man into our lives. All they have to do is write down the man they want and open themself to the possibility of receiving love.

    Rochelle is an ultrasound technician, who does not have much of chance to meet people. When an incident happens in the elevator while trying to go to work, the last thing Rockelle expected was to find the man who checked the boxes.

    Alaric is new to town. He has his quarks and is on the side of being socially awkward. When he steps on Rochelle in the elevator, he just wants to make sure she is ok and apologize, prefers he leaves her alone. Soon Rochelle realizes Alaric is the one she has been hoping for.

    This is a sweet fast read that reminds us of things that we want are not always what we expect. Love Alaric and Rochelle.

    Rochelle's Manster by Carly Keene is part of the multi-author Make A Manster series. I am loving this series as all the stories are just so much fun to read. Each book is a standalone but they are all joined at the beginning and the end with the same premise.....a group of best friends gather for a weekend of fun at one friends new B&B. On the last night there they cast at a white love spell and then see what happens. This story is about Rochelle Duncan and Alaric Ambrose. I loved this quirky, fun, nerdy, and very interesting couple from their first meeting to their developing friendship and then to one toe curling night of passion. But will they find their HEA, especially when Rochelle lets it slip about the nine things on her manster list.

    Alaric is absolutely fantastic! I loved that this book had a socially awkward hero, that he was the inexperienced one, and that he was just as worthy of love! Really his feelings towards himself broke my heart to start off his story. He struggles socially and felt extremely lonely. His first meeting with Rochelle didn’t go very well either but when things are meant to be, they find a way. Alaric might not have started out as what Rochelle thought she was looking for, but what she found instead was so much better. You will LOVE Alaric and his romance with Rochelle. You will cheer when he discovers his self worth and his worthiness to be loved. Their ending will make you smile to know that happiness has won and love has found a steamy ending.

    Rochelle cast a love spell with her friends. She did not beleive in them but when she got home she was like it's worth a shot. She meets her dream man the following day. They spend time together and she realizes he truemy is the man for her. Will she be able to convince him they are made for each other? Intriguing fun read.

    Rochelle and some friends got together for a weekend of bonding, and fun, and by the end of their girl's trip, they decide to conjure a spell for the perfect man for each of the women. Although she didn't believe the spell would come true meeting Alaric she realized he fit the description of her perfect man. This is a fun, insta love spell story with likable characters, steam, and a happily ever after. Rochelle's Manster is a great addition to the multi-author series Make a Manster and I look forward to reading the rest of the books. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

    This was a really sweet story. Alaric character is so wonderful but he sees himself as socially awkward. Rochelle ends up thinking that he's weird and strange. They end up talking and going to dinner with each other and find that they like a lot of the same things. It seems as if the Goddess has sent her the perfect man. I loved the story.

    The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Rochelle and Alaric and does not let go. The story keeps us turning the pages with hope, awkwardness, misunderstandings and steam. This book is part of the Make a Manster Series.

    Cute read of finding her dream man only to be upset upon meeting him. Enjoyed the frankness and pure of heart from Alaric as he was very endearing, in hoping to find love. I liked Rochelle’s take on understanding and realistic view of what it felt for Alaric to viewed as a list of attributes. Sweet ending for this lovely couple.

    So far, I think it's my favorite story of the series
    First encounter with Carly Keene's writing. I will try more of her books.

    It's all caused by Alarick. He is so, so cute. Extra super character, I loved him.
