Rogue Prince: An Accidental Pregnancy Romance (Royally Unexpected Book 9) Kindle Edition

4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars 430 ratings

The kingdom’s bad boy.
Paparazzi’s dream.
My. Worst. Nightmare.

Blech. The royal family of Nord.
You couldn’t pay me to spend time with those crown-wearing, silk-clad, silver-spoon-licking leeches.

Well, until I’m invited to be part of the press team on the upcoming Royal Tour.
You can pay me for that, but don’t expect me to write anything nice.

...Until one week before the tour, a silly little party brings me face-to-face with a man in a mask who makes my whole body tighten.
His eyes flick to my lips for half a second, and I feel like I’m about to faint.
His hand just barely touches the small of my back, and I’m ready to start thinking of baby names.

But that man--the one who lights me up from head to toe?
Turns out he’s Prince Silas.

Yeah, the Prince Silas.
The one who’s in all the tabloid pictures with a drink in one hand and a woman in the other.
The one who represents the worst of the frivolous royal spending.
The peak of entitled arrogance.

He might as well be my sworn enemy...and now we’re going to be spending three months together on tour.
Just me, my press badge, and his wolfish grin.

Uh, yeah. I think I might be in trouble.

Lilian Monroe adores writing swoonworthy heroes and the women who bring them to their knees. She loves making people laugh and is eternally grateful to have found people who share her sense of humor.

When she’s not writing, she’s reading (or rereading) a book, walking, lifting weights, or attempting to play the guitar with very limited success.

She grew up in Canada but now lives in Australia with her Irish husband. He frequently asks to be used as a cover model for her books, and she’s not quite sure whether or not he’s joking.

Silas and Jazz's story is sweet and tender yet full of fire and passion. I couldn't put it down. This story was on my covid isolation reading list. It felt good to slip away and read my new book and connect with characters. I have been prevented from connecting with my family and friends, yet between video calls discussing this book I'm not lonely, alone. I was able to laugh and put all thinhs in perspective more easily. Read this book. It will fill your heart.

“Rogue Prince” is book 9 in the Royally Unexpected series from author Lilian Monroe. Now, you might wonder how there could possibly be so many accidental pregnancy books about a couple of royal families – But don’t wonder, just read them! Each one is unique, and evocative of a famous fairy tale. This book might make you think of the story of The Frog Prince.

In this story, the focus is on Silas, the playboy Prince of Nord. If you are familiar with this series, you’ll recall meeting him in the 2 books before this one. Silas is a charming bad boy. In “Rogue Prince” we find out the pain beneath the charm, and the reason he’s always getting in trouble. Silas meet his match in a reporter who loathes the monarchy of which he is a part. Jacinthe, (who is nicknamed Jazz) is another character you might remember from the last book. She has built her career on being a staunch anti-monarchy journalist. Silas and Jazz know that they should be as repellent to one another as oil and water, yet they are inexorably drawn together like magnets.

This book is an easy read and is more emotional than you might expect. Both lead characters have had substantial pain in their personal lives. Silas’ existence is defined in a lot of ways by a learning disability that really impacts his life and the perception he has of himself. As the story progresses, he and Jazz each grow and change for the better. I very much enjoyed the ending, and it left me smiling.

I liked the characters. I liked the story. I think I missed a story or two in the series, but all I’ve had read, I liked. However,I am having trouble with the bonus scene. I’ve tried a few times and I don’t get any emails.

When living in a realm of being royalty and being common there is a deep class divide. Not only financially in most cases, but also in livelihood, expectations, and allowances. The pressures can be immense. However, Love can still be reached between these caverns if ones heart is even slightly open to the possibilities or chance meetings. I enjoyed this story and hope you will also.

A toxic quick read where the author thinks it’s appropriate to belittle individuals with learning disabilities. The author dresses it up as a “breakthrough”, but all they’re really doing is reinforcing stereotypes and misconceptions.

An Accidental Pregnancy book 9. Silas and Jazz are so different and yet so similar. A Prince yet so much more normal than he realizes and a reporter fighting the good fight of so she thinks. Fall for each other but this pathway is filled to the top with crazy obstacles. This book is sweet, sexy, and angsty. An awesome series.

It loved and adored this book. This couple was everything. Silas absolutely captured my heart from the beginning and Jazz just pulled you right in. It was a beautifully angst driven story.

I love this. She kissed a frog and found her Prince. I love that he changed so much for her, to prove to her that he's worthy.

5.0 out of 5 stars She wants to abolish the monarchy, but falls pregnant by a prince... Oops

Jazz is the youngest journalist to be invited to be part of the Nord Royal press tour. A three month assignment visiting several countries - sounds amazing, right? Unless you are someone who is looking to abolish the monarchy. Attending a Halloween party a few days before she leaves with her best friend who has dragged her along. She loses her father's ring whilst standing outside overlooking a lake. A Knight in shining armour or dressed as Kermit the frog in this case helps her look for it. Feeling an attraction she thinks they are about to kiss when someone says hello to Prince Silas (aka Kermit).

Expecting Prince Wolfe on the tour Jazz is distracted to find that it is indeed Prince Silas. Whodoes not want to be heading out on the tour. Doing speeches etc I's not his thing especially when he struggles due to hiss dyslexia. Despite hating all that the monarchy stands for Jazz enjoys spending time with Silas. With him there for her when she needs to head hoe for her sick mother. Visiting her in secret they hook up and begin a relationship in secret. But things take a turn for the orse when their relationship is leaked. Plus Jazz discovers sh is pregnant with his child. Is there any way they can make their relationship work?
