Jayne Thornber realized young that living in her head was often more interesting than her actual life. With that in mind, she attempted to change that with an international shift, a mid-life crisis, and the realization that if she wanted to become a best seller, she should start publishing her work. Jayne's been writing romance since her late teens, sporadically using local writers' groups and workshops and generally working on her business plan. After all, to become a best-seller, you need to have a plan.
She has plans for several romance books and has completed a few. Unfortunately, she is not an editor and thus is investing time in learning the craft of editing. Her books include a Romance Writing Prompt workbook because she knows many people that, when given a starting sentence, still have no idea how to develop the words into an idea and a story. Her next book is a book of writing exercises for all genres. Jayne believes that getting out of your comfort zone in all areas of your life is a recipe for personal growth.
In April, she is planning the release of her first romance. Set in a small country town in rural Victoria, Australia, Jayne captures the town's spirit- good and bad-and the growth of her main character, Amber. Amber must come to terms with her past, her prejudices, and more things than any successful businesswoman should have to.
