Rosa Temple began writing romantic comedy and chick lit because of her passion for what she calls the 'early chick lit films', like: Sabrina, Barefoot In the Park and Breakfast at Tiffany's. She honed her skills as a ghostwriter, gaining experience writing romance novels with sweet themes as well as steamy novels for adult readers.

She now specialises in contemporary romance and feel-good fiction.

Rosa Temple is a Londoner who recently moved to the beautiful countryside of Ross On Wye in Herefordshire, is married to a musician and has two sons. She reads a wide range of Women’s Fiction and all its sub genres and loves a gripping crime or psychological thriller. Rosa loves taking country walks and practises qigong and meditation. She spends her days creating characters and storylines while drinking herbal tea and eating chocolate biscuits.

    Short, fairly well-written novella, though the title is a misnomer. I rarely read novellas, but read it based on the strength of the few reviews available. This could easily have been a five-star for me, if the characters had been a little more fleshed out, regarding their motivations and actions and the other things that I couldn't get past. I can't talk about them without giving away some of the plot, so here goes.

    I don't know how Lori could be in the same room with Julia, after what she did, much less think even think of forgiving her. I don't like people who use other people and the way Lori put Matt in the middle of her drama was wrong on so many levels, no matter how much someone else urged her to do it. I know from personal experience that her selfish reasoning could have led to someone being seriously injured or worse and I hate when authors have women do this stupid stuff. I like to read books about strong, smart women who act like adults, and Lori failed those tests for me.

    this is just a waste of a book. Starts out with a cheating with the best friend...Have no idea how anyone could read this book. No flow... Just couldn't get into it at all. Maybe because when I read a book, I want to be uplifted and not dragged down in gutter.. Nothing to gritty or disturbing about the book.. normal sex and stuff but I don't believe at all in cheating on your loved ones. On either side.

    I read ‘Sleeping With Your Best Friend,’ not long after finishing ‘Natalie’s Getting Married,” and being my first novella, I wasn’t quite prepared to let go of the characters so soon. I liked them a lot, and even though some didn’t always have Lori’s best interest at heart, she found a way to turn the tables.

    Best friend betrayal is devastating enough, but add a less than faithful husband into the mix and Lori’s fairy tale existence is soon shattered into a million pieces. Her perfect life is behind her – or is it? What if what she had wasn’t so perfect after all? She has now become a ‘what if’ girl filled with unanswered questions and determined to put her life back together. I really enjoy this ‘go girl’ type of scenario, and found myself egging her on, as piece by piece she sifted through the mess her life had become, threw out the unwanted bits and picked up a keeper along the way. Go girl!

    An easy to read, loveable and well written story, I would highly recommend to lovers of romance.
