    I am really enjoying this clean cozy mystery series by Sharon Michaels. The characters are very likable and developing well. In this mystery, the sleuths dig into the history of a derelict home in their small community. A few twists for the canine and human sleuths, a ghost who wants closure and a hint of romance for Maya.

    Oh my gosh, I thought the first one was good, but this was even better! I loved how the family worked so well now with the mayor who’d taken a sweet interest in Maya. And now they had a new friend whose house contained some restless ghosts everyone helped settle. I loved how that turned out and the scene at the end was quite an eye-leaker but a super sweet ending for a ghost mama who’d gotten what she’d been searching for. I really hope more books are coming because Hayes’s plans for his inherited house sound so cool!

    I so love the characters especially the dogs. This was another really good read. The twisty mystery was great and a little exciting too! It had some touching parts and I loved the ending. I am loving this series and highly recommend it!
