About the author

USA Today bestselling author Jane Blythe writes action-packed romantic suspense and military romance featuring protective heroes and heroines who are survivors. One of Jane's most popular series includes Prey Security, part of Susan Stoker's OPERATION ALPHA world! Writing in that world alongside authors such as Janie Crouch and Riley Edwards has been a blast, and she looks forward to bringing more books to this genre, both within and outside of Stoker's world. When Jane isn't binge-reading she's counting down to Christmas and adding to her 200+ teddy bear collection!

- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2024Format: KindleI liked both lead characters, Poppy annd Beau, immediately and could feel a rapport with them. Poppy was such a strong young woman even though she had a rocky road to travel. I enjoyed how full of energy she was, unafraid to adventure into new things. Beau was an absolute honey, he was serious at times but again this was a consequence of his past. They were both very compatible in every way, except geographically. Their intimacy was super charged and explosive.
The mystery in the story really intrigued me and I was fully invested in finding out who the perpetrator was and why! I was hooked by the storyline from the beginning and honestly found it extremely entertaining until the very last word. Mind you I was also sitting on the edge of my seat too! The Insta romance was just as enjoyable and swoon worthy. This author knows how to describe scenes to build tension, or any other emotion, and makes you feel like you’re participating in the story. I wholeheartedly recommend this story to everyone!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 3, 2025Format: KindlePoppy and Beau. West coast to east coast and back brings us to Poppy in the middle of a sad and dangerous situation. But also one where she may have found love. Beau is a cop and can’t decide what to do since he is always responsible and “boring”. Abe and the Black brothers are pet of the story, but on the outskirts the serial killer(s) are on the west coast in this story. Poppy is strong and determined which is evident in her story from a child to the physical harm and danger she is on near the end of the book. Loved the ending and outcome. Can’t wait for more of the Black brothers and hopefully more of Poppy and Beau!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2024Format: PaperbackI think it goes without saying now that I love any book this author writes. In my eyes I think it's impossible for her to write a bad book.
This book was certainly no exception.
I love how she's taking part in many different worlds that talented authors are co writing in as hopefully this means more readers will find and fall in love with her as much as I do.
The characters and plot in this book will keep you on the edge of your seat from cover to cover, and there are a few side characters that definitely endeared themselves to me too.
Hope to see more of them in the future, not just the Rivers End bunch.
A must click for all.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2024Format: KindleWOW!! What a fantastic book. Beau and Poppy had quite the story. What a wonderful couple. They both had history that they had to deal with although Poppy had a secret that she was afraid that if Beau found out it would cost her their relationship, so could she have faith in him to tell him or not. Wow what a rollercoaster ride of suspense, heartbreak, fiery chemistry and love. This book had it all. This author loves to play with your emotions and definitely does it well. I highly recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis book is a little different than rest of series, the female is strong yes but truly saves herself and liked her confidence, sassiness, doesn’t act like a victim. I really loved that about her, the guy didn’t have to carry her over the place or sit on his lap, I’m sorry that’s a little annoying.Beau was great without being over top alpha, caring and supportive but some other male main characters, take it to extreme. The mystery storyline was a tad slow but that’s okay, it allowed more character development since male character also had childhood issues to resolve as well. Love that as well, many times it is just girl who needs saving.
