Sinner's Fall: A Second Chance, Forced Proximity M/M Romance (Brooklyn Sinners Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 276 ratings

Hiding his feelings isn’t easy for Tommy, especially when the man he’s been running from shows up on his doorstep.

Tommy Jankowski is hiding from a past he can’t escape and a man he can’t forget. With a new name and resolve, he settles in a small California town. It’s there he catches the eye of a predator. Fearing for his life, Tommy reaches out to his old boss for help. The man who shows up is the last person Tommy is prepared to face.

Mateo Oliveros hasn’t forgiven himself for scaring Tommy so bad he took off running. When Mateo gets a call that Tommy is in danger, he doesn’t think twice before rushing to the rescue, but Tommy isn’t happy to see him. Mateo’s plan is to eliminate Tommy’s problem then walk away, but that’s getting harder and harder to do. The pull between them hasn’t disappeared—in fact, it burns hotter and brighter. With neither man willing to give in, they’re both headed for a fall. It’s only a matter of who goes first.

Sinner's Fall is book four in the Brooklyn Sinners series and is best read in order. It includes themes of close proximity, angst, second chance, and hurt/comfort. Additional content warnings can be viewed via the "Look Inside" feature.

This series just keeps getting better. This one was a little shorter than the others but still delivered. Mateo and Tommy are dynamite. Their love for each shines through all the crap. I loved revisiting the other guys but where was Syren? Cannot wait for the other books and I hope there will be more. Ms. Ashton does such a wonderful job that although we know these men are beautifully flawed, we love them because at their core, they are decent. Excellent.

I have enjoyed the Brooklyn Sinners Series with the first book being my favorite,I have re-read it at least twice, and this one being my least favorite. With that said, I like the story and I recommended it to anyone that is a fan of the series. I hope there are more books to come.

Ms. Ashton has done it again!!! Sinner' s Fall:4, (Brooklyn Sinners) though very short, packed a punch. I'm not going to give you a synopsis of the story for Ms. Ashton has done a great job with the blurb and those of you who have already read the previous books, know who Tommy and Mateo are. I'm always very excited to read Ms. Ashton' s work. "Sistagurl" continues to "pitch it out the ballpark". With Tommy and Mateo's story, she has another winner. Even with only 93 pages, Ms. Ashton managed to fully developed the characters of Tommy and Mateo to get to their HEA. I enjoyed Tommy getting his "balls" back and was no longer a victim and the way he "Dom" Mateo. So happy to visit with ANGELO, GABE, PABLO, and SHANE. Where were SYREN and KANE?? Shout outs to the condo in Coney Island, it should get it own story hmmmm, maybe next book.....What's with the phone call?? Baby anyone??? BRAVO!! BRAVA!!! 5 BIG APPLES!!!

At the end of the book I still yearn for more... I know there is more to Gabe and Rafe story... Book 5 is on its way and I can't wait! Get this book.. it's worth every read.

I'm so sad to come to the end of this series! I feel like there's so much unfinished business. There are other characters in these books that I wanted to have a story line! But I completely end joyed this series, I need more books like this in my life!

I am a member of Av's Gang, and definately love the Sinner boys. I have been hooked from the beginning--from Gabe and Angel to Faro and Kane. My only complaint about this one--it's too short. Doesn't matter because if you're a member of Av's Gang--you know the story is NOT OVER YET!! If you love these books, go out to the author's website. She has continued the first two books as free reads, and promises to continue on with the others.

The Brooklyn Sinners series has been a fabulous treat- but this book has been too short and leaves the bad baddies still dangling.

3.0 out of 5 stars The weakest of this series
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 4, 2014
3.5* This was the fourth book in the series and was the weakest I felt. It was a lot shorter than the previous 3 for a start and definitely didn't go into enough background detail of the Tommy character, it just all felt a bit rushed. In saying that I really enjoyed the first 3 with the third book (Syren and Kane) being my favourite. Although this book didn't quite live up to the others, I would still recommend reading all 4 and in sequence for the stories to make sense and of course the characters from each book are mentioned in all.
