    The story continues, and it is even better than the one before it! Full of passion, tension, and a whole host of other emotions, you won't want to miss the continuing story line of James and Emma. It's so well written you will feel as if you're right there with them, totally captivated and unable to put the book down until you know how it ends! Do yourself a favor, and read this series of books! You won't be sorry!

    I received this as an ARC from Whitley. I voluntarily decided to review the book. This is my honest review.
    Omg and Whitley does it again! Every time I say she's out did herself she goes and proves she's got way more hidden talent stored away.
    I loved James and Emma from the last book but this book shows you a different side to both of them.
    I'm not sure at which part I started crying because I'd started before I realised! There is so much raw emotion flowing through this book you can't help but get drawn in, I started reading it in the afternoon and read until half 11-12 when I fell asleep reading, but I woke at one and thought I'd read for a bit before going back to sleep...Haha nope I never went back to sleep, I just couldn't find a good place to stop.
    I loved that you get to see a bit more of Justin and Kendra again I loved them as a couple so much, their books were phenomenal like these books about James and Emma are. You feel like you're friends with them because you know so much about them. It's like picking up with a long lost friend that dips in and out of your life but no matter how long it's been you feel like they've never been away.
    This book covers everything from the holidays to family, I don't know how Whitley puts so much detail into a book and they aren't short books by any stretch, it would be hard to read it in a day, I read it solid doing nothing else while everyone slept and the day before whilst in bed recuperating so I could do nothing else luckily!
    Like every book by Whitley I couldn't put it down only sleep forcing it or trying to.....
    You see James trying to keep control of his dominance and Emma trying to let him get away with more but you see a battle of wills the whole time, can love pull them through or is James to much after what Emma's been through in the past? I was on the edge so many times willing them to try harder, hoping Justin would have a word with James or even Kendra because you can see they could be so good together if he reigned it in a bit.
    This book is such an erotic book too, I'd say more than any of the others in the series and oh my was it good... so much detail and you didn't need an imagination is definitely an 18+ but wow was it good every last page was utterly breathtakingly brilliantly written by the very skilled Whitley.
    Whitley puts her all into every page and you can see it in all its glory a true masterpiece it blew me away.
    She has such emotion going on I was rung out when I finished it, going from 0-60 in a turn of a page my emotions were everywhere and I was spent. I can't remember where I started crying and when I finished, then I would laugh and my jaw would drop at the so very hot erotic sex scenes phew...
    I keep saying this is my favourite so this time I will say so far! As I know she will out do herself yet again though I don't know how she puts her heart and soul into every book and yet gets better, every book so different and alive with raw emotion threading through the pages.
    Whitley is my favourite writer she never ceases to amaze me with her talent, she is a wonderful up and coming author that will go far for sure and I'm honoured to have found her at the start of her journey. She is amazing and deserves all of the praise she gets for her brilliant books.

    Whitley Cox picks right up with Emma and James in Sex, Heat and Hunger: Part 2. While Emma has come a long way since Tom dumped her, she still struggles with many of the insecurities that are common for women. She's learning to recognize her own triggers and address them as appropriate. James continues to help expand her boundaries, and explore her own limits. While Emma is working on herself, James is still holding back and keeping secrets.

    Cox takes us on a roller coaster ride, as Emma and James navigate the complexities of their relationship and learn how to deal with the baggage each of them brings. I loved getting to spend time with Justin and Kendra again in this story. Cox has created a world with real and banged up characters. While her characters are damaged, and have more than their fair share of baggage, they aren't broken. They are all striving to be better than they were yesterday. It's not easy and takes time, but when it happens, its amazing to see. Cox challenges her characters and throws in a couple of twists I didn't see coming. You'll just have to read the book to find out what they are.

    After declaring their love for each other at the end of Part 1 James and Emma try to navigate the waters of their relationship. James tries to curb his need to control everything but he has a few slips along the way and because of Emma’s past she handles the slips by withdrawing however this is just evidence of how nervous they are of how deeply they feel for each other. In addition to the changes in their relationship they must also deal with their families and the relationships from their past continue to cause havoc in the present.

    Whitley Cox has created such deep compelling characters that you feel that you are living their lives with them and the chemistry between the two is off the charts. This story takes you on an emotional journey and every time you wonder if this will be the obstacle to drive a wedge between them they find a way to triumph and become stronger.

    This is an amazing read that you don’t want to miss. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.

    I voluntarily agreed to receive a copy of this ARC for an honest review. I am becoming a fan of Whitley Cox. This book reminds me of a saying, "everything but the kitchen sink" that's just what this book reminds me of because she has so many twists and turns that it takes you on this emotional roller coaster ride. With James secrets being with held and Emma's insecurities this book will keep you up until you have the very last page. Awesome!

    Wow! What a journey and what a number that terrible ex Tom did on Emma. He caused her so much pain and he is never satisfied, he is such a scum. Emma and James story is so touching and real that it it pulls me in and I don't want to put it down until it is finished.

    Whitley cox has an amazing way of writing sugh a sexual romantic book. This book takes you through the lives of Emma and James. The journey they take is fun, sexual, scary but a keeps you wanting more. I can't wait to read the next book. Sex, Heat and Hunger is a fantastic book. If you read these series you'll find yourself wanting more!

    This couple is intoxicating! I can't get enough if James - he's soooooo sexy! Loving that sexy older man dynamic and I love how humble he is. Emma is fantastic! Stands her ground and is her own woman who knows what she likes. Cannot wait to see how they are doing in following books!
