Say I'm the One: All of Me Duet, Book 1
Audible Audiobook
– Unabridged
From the USA Today best-selling author of Inseparable and When Forever Changes comes another emotional, angsty new adult romance that will rip your heart apart before mending it again.
I’m head-over-heels in love with my best friend, although I can’t pinpoint exactly when Reeve Lancaster became my entire world. Was it when we were little kids, practically brought up together, after Reeve’s mom died during childbirth and his dad subsequently fell apart? Or when I doodled his name in my school journal at age 10? Maybe it was when we became boyfriend and girlfriend at 14, or when we shed our virginity at 16, pledging our forever?
I was there as his star ascended - like I’d always known it would - and there wasn’t a prouder person on the planet. As the only child of Hollywood’s golden couple, I’ve lived my life in the spotlight enough to know it wasn’t what I wanted for my future. But I sacrificed my own desires, because Reeve’s happiness meant everything to me.
Until he crushed my heart into itty-bitty pieces, forcing me to fly halfway around the world just to escape the gut-wrenching pain. The opportunity to study at Trinity College Dublin came at the perfect moment, and I jumped at the chance without hesitation. If I’d known fate was meddling in my life, perhaps I would have chosen differently, but my future was cemented the instant I laid eyes on him.
Dillon O’Donoghue was Reeve’s polar opposite in every way, and perhaps that’s why I felt drawn to him. He was the dark to my light. The thorn in my side, irritating me with his cold disdain, wild recklessness, and a burning rage hidden deep inside him that spoke to a silent part within me. Yet Dillon showed me what it was like to truly live, opening my eyes to endless possibilities.
What happened next was inevitable, and I only have myself to blame. He warned me, and I knew my reprieve was temporary, because there is only so far I can run. Especially when fate hasn’t finished messing with me yet.
This is a full-length second-chance romance novel that is book one of two. It cannot be listened to as a stand-alone, and it ends on a cliff-hanger. Recommended to listeners aged 18 and older.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2025Omg! I did not see this coming!! I am beyond shocked. Totally unexpected. What is Dillon going to do next? He seemed so sincere and truly in love. I was rooting for Dylan and Vivian. I am dying to read what happens next.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2023I set out for a new read that would break my heart, and boy did I find it! This book has, hands down, obliterated my heart. I threw my phone the last few chapters and I couldn't believe the twist at the end.
Viv and Reeve grew up together. Best friends in childhood turned high school sweethearts. They loved each other so much they knew from the start they were destined to be together. Reeve is on the path to stardom and when he lands his first big role they are shattered they have to be apart while he films. Viv knows something is amiss and tried to keep them fighting for their relationship. But with every passing week they drift further apart, with the help of his Co star, agent and PR rep. It all comes to a head when Reeve "fakes" a relationship with his co star and ends up publicly cheating on Viv.
Broken hearted and being hurt and harassed, Viv decides to leave for Ireland. She begins her journey to heal and forgive. What she doesn't expect is to fall in love again. Dillion is a lead singer in.an up and coming band. He's got anger issues and secrets. When he sets his sights on Viv their chemistry is out of this world. Quickly falling into each other they fall hard and fast. Unfortunately, Viv is headed back to L.A. in a last ditch attempt she writes a letter to Dillion, that goes completely ignored.
Once back in L.A. Reeve is determined to get her back. But her heart is split between the two men. Ending up happy and married to the man that stole her heart. Until they arent...
This book was amazing, raw and heartbreaking. Watching Viv struggle through the tumultuous relationship with Reeve and then to turn around and have her heart broken again by Dillion was so sad. I loved the character development and world building in these stories. Another 5 star read from Siobhan Davis!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2021The writing was great and after being in a book slump this one sucked me right in and I stayed up late to finish. So I have to celebrate that fact and where most of my stars came from! I am a little confused where everyone felt the mystery of who she ended up with from the prologue came from. It was clearly listed in the names and how it was written. So I went in mentally connecting more to one. I did get annoyed though which took a star.
Spoilers******
Viv’s extreme broken heart - I feel like it should have been more a focus of everything instead of so much hard weight put on a kiss. He was on drugs/drunk and was this huge cheating, no forgiveness, they are DONE forever. She started to annoy me with double standards. She was drunk and kissed someone, admitted she didn’t push him away, the only reason it stopped was because her friend walked up. Yet hers is okay because she was drunk/upset but his isn’t??? Then I was over it when her friend Ash has sex with a married ex and Viv is disappointed but 100% supportive. then convinces her friend not to tell Jamie??? So she can have a chance with the relationship. Isn’t that the same reasoning Reeve had? Her rant on no lies, cheating, be open blah blah blah just lost all its credibility. It felt like everything was okay if Viv said it was but no one else can. I also had whiplash reading between Reeve & Dillon. When I was supposed to like them as a reader they were super sweet. When I was supposed to hate them they had a personality change and were extreme jerks. It became hard to feel like I wasn’t reading new characters. Also the note left at a party house with assumption it’ll magically end up in his hands. Come on 🙄 obviously that’s not going to be received & becomes obvious it’s for a plot twist. I know it’s young adult and maybe my mature mind can’t comprehend enough so I should just accept the story but I’m just annoyed lol.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2021This book is pure angst, so much so that it’s painful but the story and characters pulled me in despite my reservations. I generally stick to HEA because if I want to be sad, I’ll read the news. I expected a lot of fast-paced craziness like the Rydeville Elite series, but this was completely different.
This is a love story first and foremost so every aspect of the plot is intricately woven into the relationships between the main characters. There aren’t a bunch of enemies to face, just their own hearts and minds.
Vivien and Reeve won me over immediately. They’ve been best friends and soulmates for their whole live. Acting is Reeve’s dream and when his big break happens during senior year of high school, Viv is happy for him, but sad for her. She loves their life exactly as is and knows everything will change. She did everything to support his dream, but their love wasn’t enough to protect them. When things fall apart, Viv heads to Ireland on a study abroad opportunity to recover. There she meets Dillon, a gorgeous Irish rocker with a smoky voice and magnetic presence.
The last thing Viv wants is a man in her life, especially such an abrasive one, but the constant current arcing between them is undeniable. He seems to hate her on sight, but warms up to her quickly and the lust soon consumes them. Dillon is sweet and considerate in some ways, cruel and almost abusive in others. They have unbelievably hot chemistry but he’s closed off and distanced. She decides a summer fling is the perfect fix for her blues and that it’s safe since thge relationship has an expiration date when she’ll return to LA for the new school year.
They fall madly in love and Dillon becomes an almost-perfect boyfriend but blows everything up with a last-minute tantrum. He gave no indication that he wanted more, but just hours before she’s set to return to California, he demands she stay if she loves him. Viv does love him but she can’t just not get on the plane. After all, school starts soon, Aubrey’s depending on her as a roommate, her family is there and her whole life is in LA. She can’t just not go but she’s willing to consider changing the plan if he wants her to stay. Dillon never gives her a chance to explain and just bails when she doesn’t immediately agree to stay. He broke her heart just as much, maybe even more than, Reeve.
This book ends on an emotional note with a game-changing cliffhanger but Let Me Love You has already been released so there’s no wait. It’s an amazing story with fantastic characters. My allegiances change from team Reeve to team Dillon and back. I’ve mostly loved Viv because she’s flawed and human but inherently good and she’s tough, learning to protect herself and heal her wounds with strength and grace. The last few chapters made me reconsider and I wonder how I’ll feel about her once it’s all over. They’ve all made mistakes but they’re young and inexperienced and they’re doing the best with the knowledge and skills they possess. Still, some things might be unforgivable.
While waiting the release of the next book, I read the prologue more than once, trying to discern which man she ended up with and I think I know. The breadcrumbs in the opening scene seem to point one way but when you look below the surface, all isn’t as it seems. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in less than 24 hours
One aside I must mention: Reeve’s big break is being cast as Camden Marshall in the wildly popular Rydeville Elite movies being made from the best-selling books and I absolutely LOVED that. I wish those movies could actually be made but let’s face it, the movies are never as good as the book and those books in particular have so much going on, there’s no way Hollywood could do them justice.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it!
Love Reeve and Vivien. Reeve gets his first major part in acting, this means he will be away from his best friend and girlfriend Viv, but believes they will be fine. The pressure is a lot for him being away from Viv, but he is sure he can do this on his own. His father has no time for him and never has. Viv's parents are in the filming industry too, so they know what pressure Reeve could face, but assure hm that if he ever needs help or advice from them, they will be there to offer support. Reeve disrespects Viv over his career time and time again. Viv has tried her best to be there for Reeve but it is wearing her down, to a point that she can't be with him anymore. She moves to Ireland for a while where she meets Dillon. Dillon is the opposite of Reeve, feisty, abrupt, quick tempered, but his love for Viv becomes more clear the longer they spend together. Lots of twists and turns. Emotional read and well worth reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Siobhan masterpiece 🖤
This book was so emotional 😭 from beginning to end!!! With a huge plot twist at the end, leaving questions unanswered...... and my mouth still hanging open from shock, I never saw that coming. I can’t wait for May 31st Because the wait is killing me. Book one wrecked me and I know book 2 will ruin me.
The pain Vivien goes through is heartbreaking
I had moments where I was internally screaming. Others where I wanted to cry and just hug this girl for everything she went through. Other moments had me like girl what are doing.
This was my favourite read of 2021 and I have read a lot since the new year. Siobhan is my favourite author and I have to say this is my favourite book from her. This is a book that’s definitely going on my shelf. If your looking for a a good read this is the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful devastation
This was a reread in the lead up to the release of Reeve and I can tell you now, the torment is no better this time around.
Vivien spends much of this book as an unwitting pawn. The emotional trauma she deals with is devastating- yet she continues to grow as an individual. It’s a story filled with angst and heartbreak and it’s worth the tears.

5.0 out of 5 stars Full of drama and angsty romance
This story has more angst than an enemies to lovers romance and more drama than any korean tv series till now. I got hooked on to this book from the first page itself and found it super hard to put it down. I sort of felt like an injustice to the story.
Say I'm the one is very well written. This is not a drama that is new, it's just the fabulous way it has been written that sets this book apart from any other book you have ever read. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rest In Peace my ❤️
Oh my god! 👀
Viv and Reeve grow up together and fast became best friends, years passing and then they were each other’s firsts. Having a absent father, Viv’s family mostly raised Reeves, and being Oscar awards winners inspired him to pursuit his acting career. With Viv by his side he landed a great spot as a leading character in a franchise and his career took of.
They struggled with the schedules and the distance making Reeve put his career first hoping to get his father proud. He lost his way bringing a lot of heartache to Viv, who suffered heavily. Women, drug abuse and lies drift them apart making Viv fly to Ireland to collect the pieces of her heart and try to move on from the love of her life.
There she meets Dillon a guy who is the opposite of the one she left behind.
They grew a connection and star to fall in love. He teaches her the simple lesson of living, and how is to be put first.
But eve thing comes to a abrupt end when she has to go back to LA.
It’s a long book, at first I was rooting fo Reeve and then for Dillon, and now I don’t know!
Siobhan made my heart so confused, and the cliffhanger rip the rug beneath my feat.
Now I’m afraid, because certainly I didn’t want to be ins Vivs shoes.
I love this book so much, because it’s so different and so amazing!
Prepare your heart, read in a quiet place because she’s gonna rip your heart out without mercy ❤️
