After a little over one year in business, I was having a lot questions about what directions I should take going forward. The first quarter of the year was just a month away to end and I had more doubts than certainties. It was then that I "bumped" into She Means Business. The book had just come out and what a blessing it has been in my path! Carrie's writing feels like you're having a conversation with her instead of reading a book. She opens her heart to you and shares stories of challenges and successes that so many of us, solopreneurs, know very well. The path she proposes is straightforward and simple. There's no magic pill, but clear guidance and objective steps anyone can take advantage of, no matter on what level their business is. From inspiration and mindset to action steps and examples, you can find everything you need to be successful in She Means Business. And, as the title of the first chapter of the book, you'll realize, like I did, that "This Is No Accident." Loved it, am already reading it for the second time and highly recommended!

A Library Staple for Every Aspiring Female Entrepreneur
I came across the Female Entrepreneur Association about a year ago, when I was considering starting my own business. Over the course of the year, Carrie's advice, stories, and insight have been incredibly inspirational and motivational for me. When I learned of her new book, I naturally pre-ordered it and waited in anticipation for it to arrive in my mailbox. As soon as it was delivered, I cracked it open and was so relieved. The book delivered everything I had imagined and more. Carrie cleverly uses analogies, personal stories, real life examples and real-talk to deliver her message. Unlike typical books broken into large chapters (which can be a challenge to digest for women with limited time), She Means Business is comprised of very short sections, each with a take-away and actionable items for you to get started on your entrepreneurial journey (or further it along). While easy-to-read, it is packed with a ton of great information, inspiration and encouragement.
