This was a great book. There were a lot of great things about this book.

I liked Lana, she was a very brave. Sometimes she could be a brat but I remember that was how I was as a teenager. She made a lot of mistakes but always tried to do right.

The little sister was a bit much for me. Some of her conversations were way more mature then most 10 year olds. Her character should have been aged at 13 because then it would have been more believable.

Paul was a such a sweetheart. But, he kind of came off as a stalker.

Jeremy, Jeremy, Jeremy…What to say about him…hmmm. From the first introduction you just knew he was trouble. He was a spoiled brat with a horrible temper. He definitely didn’t respect Lana and tried to manipulate her every chance he got. His character was just horrible in every way. He was awful to Paul. He was extremely jealous. He had a horrible temper from day and was very disrespectful from day 1. I usually root for the bad boy but he didn’t have any qualities deemed redeemable.

I liked how it showed Lana’s fathers point of view and didn’t take up too many pages with it.

Paul mother was great. She was very strong and fought for what was right regardless of the consequences.

Jeremy obviously has horrible parents, which is why he was so horrible. At the end, they stayed horrible. You would think all that happened would force them to look in the mirror but they barely accepted responsibility. Since their son destroyed so many lives they should have tried to make up for it.

I would have loved if there was an epilogue. That’s my personal opinion but books don’t feel complete to me without them.

This was a lifetime movie!!! Every single detail scream Lifetime!! And it ended like a Lifetime movie. No epilogue to say what happen after the fact. Anyway Lana moved to Cali with dad and little sister. So afterwards and I mean soon after she gets involved with the resident rich bad boy who really is a bad boy who thinks daddy’s money will always get him out of trouble. I guess he was wrong! SMH

What a book! Jeremy was one crazy, misguided and disturbed child. I say child because he wasn't 18 yet and had already committed two murders and two attempted murders. Maybe more than that with his temper. His parents, rich and privileged, gave him everything and got him out of all his messes. That is, until the murders and attempted murders. They finally decided to wash hands of Jeremy and let him pay for his crimes; they even took his trust fund away and walked out of the door. Jeremy vowed that they would pay for what they had done, or what they didn't do. It would have been great to have an elipogue to know how Paul and Lana were doing and how much time Jeremy got for his crimes.

Sorry, this one was an "on&on&on....". Too much teens going astray from disinterested parental guidance. Also, too rough for me, can't believe people choose to live that way.

A captive story line. The story kept my attention, and I was on the edge of my seat with anticipation of Jeremy's next moves. I thought the story deserved a better ending. The ending seemed a little anticlimactic. Otherwise, a good read.

Stacy has done it again I am never disappointed with her writing and characters and these 2 main characters were something else. Jeremy the male lead was not a good guy at all and then Lana the female was just the new girl moving into town with her father and sister. She is drawn to him because of how confident he is amongst other things but doesn't listen to what her neighbor Paul tells her about Jeremy until its almost too late. You definitely most read this when it comes out. Another great book.

I ended up skimming most of the book because it was poor. Events in the story jumped from place to place, with no real development. Very disappointed.
