I wasn’t smart. I hadn’t had the best kind of life. I was messed up in the head, though I tried my hardest to hide it. I was happy just having a permanent roof over my head and a place to sleep other than the floor.
I had that now but that didn’t mean I wasn’t always afraid that it would be taken away in the blink of an eye. I did my best to make my club proud.
But somehow I’d failed recently.
I’d tried to save my past and my club at the same time.
Didn’t work out so well, but Prez showed mercy.
So I tried to move on and prove that I was all-in for the club.
I swore I’d never let them down again.
Then one random night, I stumbled into the woman that would change my life.
I wasn’t looking for a forever woman. I didn’t think I deserved one. Didn’t think I wanted one. Except there was something about her that kept me coming back even though I knew I’d never be good enough for a classy woman like her. It was like I couldn’t stay away.
Just when I started thinking we could have something, she disappeared on me.
First I had to find her.
Then I had to find a way to make her see that we weren’t done yet.

    If you are a fan of this series then you have been waiting for this book for a while now. Eve R Hart does not miss with all the expectations I had for Sketch.

    What I loved:

    Reverse age gap? YES PLEASE! She makes it work and it makes total sense for Sketch

    Sketch's dirty dirty mouth. It might be a little in your face and first, but I promise you will be falling in love with him despite of it in the end. Once you learn his background, upbringing etc... it will make total sense.

    That it absolutely breaks my heart. Not the ending (this is not a spoiler but no cliffhanger here people come on) but man once we start to learn Sketchs past. Well if it doesn't break your heart too then I don't know what is wrong with you.

    Overall:

    I seem to live for broken characters and not because I think they need someone to fix them. No, it's because someone has found them. Seen them for something nobody else could. I love characters that aren't fixed but found and that's what Lis does for Sketch.
    If Eve R Hart wanted this series to go out with a bang that's what she did. Sketch is perfection.

    It’s the end of an era with Sketch being the last book. Sketch was everything Eve had teased us about and so much more. We get a peak into his life before he joins SPMC and it’s brutal. I wanted to hug him and never let go. I love that Eve gave Sketch and older woman. He needed that maturity in his h to balance him out and Melissa was perfect.

    I’m sad to see these stories end but hopefully we’ll get the kids books soon.

    I have been waiting for Sketch's story for a while now and I must say that his story exceeded my expectations. Sketch did not disappoint. I loved him and his Melissa. Sketch found in Melissa someone to accept him and his past, someone to love him, and his forever.
    Melissa found in Sketch someone to support her, someone to love her, someone to nurture, and her forever. I loved the relationship they have because their dynamic just worked. Melissa really sees Sketch and I like her for him. These two steamed up my kindle and made me laugh. Sketch gave me all the feels. I read this story in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed Sketch and Melissa's story. Sketch was a good read.
    Sketch wrapped up this generation nicely. I cannot wait to see what is coming in the next generation.

    What an awesome book for an unconventional hero. It made me laugh and cry. I loved the chapters from Sketch’s point of view. He’s so funny, and get damaged. I loved watching/hearing/reading about him falling in love. For some reason I typically don’t like age gap romances where the woman is significantly older. I think that’s just a personal thing from my own history where I couldn’t imagine being with someone younger and more more immature than me. Anyways, it works so well in this story and I loved it. I can’t believe this is the end of this series. I can’t wait to see what comes next from the author, but this was a great closing book.

    This was the best way to send off the Steel Paragons Coast! Sketch has been the mysterious member skirting the outer edges of the club. His story will intrigue you for his next truth. And then Melissa enters the picture and all the feels come out! Epic love story!!

    I have loved this whole series but I can say with absolute certainty, that this book was THE BEST!
    Sketch is one of those characters that just hits you in the feels...
    It's awful hearing about a life like 'his'... but it's even more heartbreaking to think that this'life', is probably happening more than anyone realises.
    I absolutely L.O.V.E.D this book, everything about it.
