    Format: Paperback
    This book is not your ordinary cartoon coloring book for small children. It is more sophisticated, with images that are more intricate. That being said, it is refreshing to see something different for this age group. The letters are still introduced in recognizable ways with recognizable animals and objects, but the letters themselves have a pattern, and the pages in between have more of a mandala pattern to them. The only suggestion may be to have all the letters either be upper or lower case. If you capitalize the first letter of a word, do that for every page. The consistency could help young readers.

    Numbers and Alphabets Coloring Book for Children Ages 4–8 has various illustrations to color, featuring both letters and numbers. Overall, my child enjoyed it, even though he doesn't quite distinguish the details of the drawings very well. It’s great for the beginning stages of literacy.
