    This was such a book that I already want to read it again. Cassandra and Mia were understandable and relatable in so many aspects and they just meshed so well together. I really appreciate that Mia want infantalized or portrayed as being younger in personality than she was. I'm sure a lot of that had to do with her experiences and dealing with serious life issues but whenever someone writes about an early 20 something year old, I get nervous about how they'll be presented. Especially in explicit books like this. And while Mia had a certain nativity because of her lack of certain life experiences, she was still an obviously strong independent woman even if she was still figuring things out. She was such a great character to get to know and I sympathized with her so much.

    I also really love the suspense that these books have to offer. It makes it feel like more when you have some outside chaos and drama tied into the romance. A big thing I need as a reader is to believe any conflict that's presented and if something seems too flimsy, like a misunderstanding or something that could be cleared up with one simple question, it takes me out of the story completely. Anna Stone has a way of creating internal and external conflict that I can understand as being a plausible scenario in real life.

    This spice in this book is also really good and I love seeing how these different women approach it in the bedroom. The two MC's were clearly very compatible and the chemistry was so well written.

    Great read, great everything. Can't wait to see whose story is next!

    *Side note: In all the books I've read, Lilith's Den has been a constant landmark that links everyone but it wasn't until now that I started wondering how the place came to exist. I know who owns it but I can't remember if we've ever been told how it came to be. I was thinking how cool would it be to get a prequel. Just a random thought that I can't believe took me all these books to wonder about.

    While I had issues with the last story, this one was better than the last one. My only issue with this story is with Diane, her living through the fire the way she did was beyond belief. If the writer wanted her to survive the fire there are other ways to write the story to make that happen. But to have as large a fire as she writes withe as much smoke makes it hard to believe she could possibly survive, especially since she was unconscious with no way to even try to find safety. Other than that part it was a good story.

This is the second book in Ms Stone's new series they can be read as stand alone but it's better to read both in order to understand the main characters better.Don't take my word for it just know that Anna Stone is one of if not the best at what she does so if you haven't read any of her books yet then I recommend you do.

    I love how much life and and diversity Anna brings to her characters and this book was no exception. Riley, Ava and Tess are all here from Capturing Tess. Cassandra too although she has a starring role this time, along with new character Mia. Along with the story itself, the drama and the fantastic sex scenes we know and love Anna for, there are also a couple of very real life lessons highlighted. That people and relationships are far more important than materialistic things, and being successful in life is not always the same as living life. Whether you’re already a fan of Anna Stone and her books or completely new to them, I think you’ll love it too.
