    Didn’t enjoy this story as much as the first book in this series. I wanted to read more about Lily, the main character in the first book, but this story featured other characters in the same setting. This also wasn’t a mystery but more of a romance, which I wasn’t expecting. The ending was predictable and it took too long to get there. Not planning on reading the next book in this series.

    I disliked that it was a constant miss for love until the very end. I felt it took too long to get them together. I really enjoyed the first book, but now I am hesitant on book 3 after book 2 was so dragged out. Fewer pages may have served this story better.

    I enjoyed book 1 so quickly got book 2. It’s an enjoyable read. Nice to catch up with the characters from book 1. Basically it’s a romance, quite predictable in places. I thought the author really showed us what life is like in a small community, everyone ‘looking out for each other’ and impossible to have secrets. It didn’t take long to read on Kindle, I thought it rather overpriced. However I enjoyed it although I found Seren to be quite an annoying person! I also thought it ended rather abruptly.
    I’m looking forward to the next 2 in the series. The Isles of Scilly is such a lovely setting, what a good idea to set it there. Having visited a few times I did feel that the author could have enlarged on their beauty and uniqueness. I did wonder if she had actually visited. If you are reading this series and feel tempted to visit you won’t regret it. If you are wondering about reading book 2, just get on and do it. It’s perfect for a wet weekend or holiday.

Set on the beautiful Isles of Scilly, Seren has always been treated as part of the Treneary family and considered all the boys to be like brothers but gradually she realised her feelings for Kit had changed but should she tell him? Another lovely romance which I enjoyed very much and am looking forward to reading the next in the series.
