Seduction is the third book of the Wicked Vows series written by Jane Henry. In this book we are introduced to Nikko and Vera. Nikko's assignment is to infiltrate the Ivanova Bratva by posing as the bodyguard of Vera while she studies in Moscow. The goal is to assassinate Vera’s father, the only issue in this mission is that Nikko never expected to fall for the strong, intelligent and beautiful Vera, or to start in a game of seduction for his enemy daughter. Everything gets more interesting, and hard to resist the enemy when Nikko and Harper decide to “FAKE” their marriage. Since Harper refuses to have a bodyguard. This story like most of Jane’s stories has a strong alpha male that would do anything for his women. It also has a strong, smart woman that is ignored by men because of her beauty, and gender. It only takes finding the right alpha male for her to see herself shine. Also like all of her stories, Seduction is well written, with amazon characters, with our favorite troop’s such as fake marriage, enemies to lovers, bodyguards 😉, and many more. Jane did a wonderful job of bringing to like Nikko and Vera, this is a must read book.

    Seduction is the third book in the Wicked Vow series. As with the previous books,
    Ms Henry is accomplished in the Mafia-themed genre and has mastered complicated
    relationships like Nikko and Vera’s. This book has just the right balance of revenge,
    danger, intensity, and anticipation. Vera was portrayed as strong and intelligent, while
    Nikko was protective and dominant. Nikko and Vera had many light-hearted moments,
    which often turned into steamy scenes. They say opposites attract, which was never
    more evident than when Nikko and Vera were together. Nikko kept encouraging Vera
    and was so proud of her accomplishments. Vera, in return, loved Nikko unconditionally,
    calling Nikko Daddy.

    This book was more of a slow burn, and there wasn't a lot of action initially. The focus
    was on the relationship between Nikko Ronanov and Vera Ivanov. Nikko (Markov) was
    tasked with pretending to guard Vera Ivanov while studying in Moscow. This would allow
    Nikko to get close to her father to exact revenge on him for the attacks on the Romanov
    family.

    He wasn't supposed to develop feelings for Vera, but nature took its course behind closed
    doors, making Nikko more protective of Vera. Vera was somewhat of an enigma. She was
    intense, brilliant, and on the verge of a breakthrough, but she loved to read romance novels
    and craved Nikko’s dominance.

    I could never have imagined the unique twist, but it highlighted Ms Henry’s talent. Expect
    the unexpected with this page-turning mystery.

    I liked this book, as I did other books in the series. The characters are compelling. However, the back story of Vera traveling to Russia for a 6 month graduate level research seminar on more effective ways to handle mass trauma, such as in war or natural disasters, was weak. I had to skip those sections of the book. The Russian university sessions sounded like the beginning class of EMT training.

First of all I don't think I have ever read anything by this author and I wasn't disappointed either,in fact I have preorder the next story.Vera is a young lady who has her head in her work has the world goes by,she is chosen for some work study thing and she has to leave home but she has to have a bodyguard when Nikko steps in but that's not his real name and he has secrets, one he plans on killing Vera's father but never gets a chance, the longer he is around Vera,the more he is falling in love with her.Nikko has his chance to do Vera's father in but is almost killed by his surpose girlfriend and Vera's father is killed by his double crossing girlfriend, so their is a mess to clear up between the two family's but there is also a happy ending for Vera and Nikko!

    Great addition to the series. Nikko and Vera's love story.

    Nikko truly took his role protecting seriously.
    There were sparks flying at the first glance. Storu had everything adventurer the suspense whats next around the corner.
    So well written the details you could envision the words. The emotions love joy pain fear loyalty trust etc.
    Both come from strong families strong bond. The brother protecting each other having each others back. They are funny. Secondary and previous characters great addition to the storyline.
    They were good together ,they clicked. Nikko man of honor put Vera first everytime. Got to know her in every way. Praised her accomplishments.
    Vera not mad when she found out Nikko lied his identity
    Loved when the family met they connected instantly.
