Shattered Jewel (Titan Falls deutsche Ausgabe Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 576 ratings

The ruby Heart is split, and so am I.

Cav, Kaspian, Axe, and Wilder: my lovers, my protectors, my doom. Each touch binds me tighter to their cause, even as I uncover the brutal truth of the Cimmerian Court.

We're racing to find both halves of a jewel never meant to be whole. But with each clue deciphered, each forbidden location unearthed, I realize the true cost of our quest.

The Sovereigns' hunger for the Heart grows with each passing day. Their endgame? A ritual that will consume everything--including the men I've grown to love.

As I delve deeper into my family's dark history and unravel the web of lies surrounding the Heart, I'm hurtling towards a choice that terrifies me.

In order to save my men, I might have to offer the Sovereigns exactly what they've sought all along.

Shattered Jewel is the delicious conclusion to the Cimmerian Court duet, a spicy, boys obsessed, dark romance by bestselling author Ketley Allison.

Book 2 is the last book in this most excellent series! This story goes above and beyond all others of its kind…. It’s a total must read for fans of these types of books….

Shattered Jewel by Ketley Allison is book 2 in the Cimmerian Court Due. If you like books with heroine in danger, why choose, polyamorous romance, alpha hero, secret society, band of brothers, Ivy League, band of bothers, boy obsessed, and suspenseful books then you will love this book.

This book picks up where the cliffhanger book 1 Wicked Court left off. Cav, Axe, Wilder, and Kaspian are still trying to find the Ruby heart that Elara is desperately trying to keep safe. Elara learns more about her brother and what happened to him. While learning about her and Sara’s past, she learns more about the horrors the guys went through. The Sovereign believed that violence, cruelty, and holding family members as hostages were the way to lead or keep people under their control.

Throughout all of this the guys protected and fell in love with Elara. Elara is a strong willed FMC who was not going down without a fight. I still think Axe is my favorite although by the end Wilder was not too far behind. Learning where each of their scars came from was tough and what Axe endured and kept secret 😭. There were so many twists and turns, betrayal, shock until the very end. I’m bummed this duet is over already. I enjoyed this book but it’s not a standalone so you must read book one first.

So much drama and tension in these books. Each character has their secrets and their terrors. All are immersed in a diabolical threat. Need to read the first two books to keep up with this story. But this duet is top notch. It is not for everyone. There are all sorts of glitches and nuances to be dealt with. But there are few (although some) editorial errors that are confusing, the stories are well done and complete, with many answered questions. Unfortunately, not all of us are blessed with such understanding and deep minded men, but we can dream.

Good finish to the duet. We find out who the sovereigns are and what happened to Maverick and Elara’s father. Somethings fit or were too easy, but it was still a good read.

I think I wouldn't mind being in an Axe, Kasp, Cav Wilder sandwich.
What a Rollercoaster of emotions and plot twists. I was sure I know who done it or was gonna do it but I got it wrong.

I absolutely love this author. The second book was so good. Lots of suspense and a mystery to solve. The ending was sos suspenseful, I didn’t know how it would end. I hope there will be more Alara and Clover and their men in the future.

    🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

The conclusion in the Cimmerian Court duet and it shocked. Ketley is no stranger to writing secret societies, this one didn’t disappoint but represented on a whole other level.
Elara, the descendant, determined, stubborn, unbreaking, and their hope. With or without their help, she will discover the truth behind it all, her brother, her lineage, the secrets, the curses and lore.
I love nothing more than the tortured soul(s) being saved, forgiven, understood, accepted and loved by one, and knowing in their scarred, hard, and blackened heart they will only have that with her. So only she gets to see all of it.

“But she reminds us of what we are underneath all these layers of blood and grime. Men with hearts that still beat for something other than violence.”
She is the end of my curse.
    “She’s our saving grace, then?”
“She’s our hope,” I correct him quietly.

I have loved every Ketley Allison book I have read. I loved this world so much and I’m hoping there is more to come in the future.

This book was so good. It was dark, twisted, gory and unbelievable. Elara stood her ground and showed her grit as well as her kind, understanding nature. The horrors the boys had to endure at the hands of men who believed violence and cruelty was the way to lead, showed their inner strength, determination and loyalty to each other. Their love for Elara was not a weakness it was their fortification.

    Stars given on level of engagement;

5 stars - less than a day to read because I cannot put it down. I only give 5 stars if it has managed to engage extra emotions from me - extreme lol moments or real teary moments etc. A 5 stars book tends to have me raging about cliff hangers and (legally and not creepily) stalking the author for release dates.

4 stars - 2 days to read or less. A book that I have quite enjoyed reading, feisty MC and some racy scenes with thier romantic interest. I would definitely follow a series and author for 4 star books.

3 stars - takes around 2/3 days to read, usually because I have become distracted and less engaged in some sections but by the end the end I have enjoyed the overall story and would read any sequels.

1/2 stars not given, as I have usually returned it without finishing as I'm not engaged.

1.0 out of 5 stars Skipped a lot and it still wasn't enough

I mostly have to finish a story if I start it no matter how bad it is. I skipped 70% of this book and it was still torture. I'm beginning to think woth Amazon and one that can hold a pen can call themselves an author, or anyone that can turn on a computer. I can never get back the time I lost skip-reasing this book. Never again for the author.
