The King of kings has returned and established His reign from Jerusalem. A year and one month later, a city called Nalchik in central Asia sets in motion to shake off the King's rule. Led by a charismatic, stubborn leader named Alibeg Akoev, the man sets in motion a plan that seems incredulous--a first in human history--all to find out the truth about Yeshua, who and what He is.

Drawn to the city intent on a resolution and with a prayer echoing in His ear, King Yeshua sets in motion to end the conflict and do something even more profound in Alibeg.

Sean writes what he calls Spirit-Filled Fiction, novels that display God as alive, personal, & powerful. His novels include "Shiloh's Rising," "The Jesus Boy," "The Day Jesus Moved Next Door," and his newest, a novelette entitled "Shiloh's Rising: The Song of the Cherubim." He's also compiled a short story collection, "Should the Oaks Fall: 11 Short Stories to Enliven the Heart," and an illustrated children's book, "Once Upon a Donkey."

Sean Elliot Russell's publishing began when his short stories appeared in North American magazines and newspapers including MATURE YEARS, SEEK, Focus on the Family's CLUBHOUSE JR, and the CAPPERS serial newspaper.

He has sought to grow as a writer and use his writing to inspire those on a journey with Christ, and those about to enter that journey.

On occasion, Sean also writes devotionals: "The Journey Home" and "30 Selah Moments with the Holy Spirit: God on the Move" (Acts 1-12 devotional).

Sean is now delving into creating journals that will impact peoples' spiritual walks with the Lord.

An army war vet of Desert Storm as an M1A1 main battle tanker, Sean later graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from a Foursquare Bible college in the USA. He resides in the UK. His interests include cooking, traveling, and watching old B&W films.

    An interesting and entertaining fictional read on the Second Coming. Russell’s imaginative scenarios of the Second Coming are thought provoking. I found his characters very captivating. I couldn’t put the novelette down, so to speak, as I read half of it in record time. Rereading is a must to better identify with his characters, in my humble opinion. The excerpts that Russell includes from his novel “Shiloh’s Rising” are also likewise very captivating. I would recommend Russell’s novelette to all those who are anticipating the Second Coming of Yeshua. Keeping in mind that Russell’s scenarios are fictitious, we have no idea how the events of the Second Coming will unfold.

    Russell does a wonderful job getting the reader to believe the time and space he depicts. As soon as I started to read the book, it was like I was transported to the end times (a great subject to take on). Seeing the development of Yeshua and Alibeg Akoev was interesting. One interesting aspect of the novelette was the revealed character of Yeshua. I won’t say too much to spoil it for new readers, but Yeshua’s character was refreshingly more down to earth than I expected. I would easily put this book in the category of C.S. Lewis’s Screwtape Letters—as it gives an interesting, faith-based, and heartfelt investigation of the spiritual inner workings of people’s motives.
