    Harper's uncle dies and his client, Angelo decides that Harper will take her uncle's place as his lawyer. Angelo and Harper are drawn to each other, but Harper wants to keep everything professional. Angelo makes it so that Harper has a hard time fighting her attraction to him. Harper is changing Angelo by being around him and doesn't realize it. Angelo's father comes back into the picture to make sure Angelo isn't changing for the better. Things get real interesting and Angelo needs to decide how much he wants to tell Harper about himself.

    This book follows all the tropes of a romance. All the characters do exactly as you would expect them too.
    There are no surprises. It's pretty corny. Sometimes that can be a good thing, but it can also get boring.
    I don't hate the book, but I'll never read it again.
    Also, I had issues knowing who was talking sometimes because she almost never uses he said/she said. It's always just a quote with some action or thought after and it gets a little confusing.
    The story has potential but I feel like it never pushed any boundaries or shook up the taboos which got boring for me. I can definitely see this being turned into a passionflix movie though so there is that lol
    If you like the stereotypical fantasy romance you'll like this book. If you want a book that throws some curves at you it's not this one.
    Maybe book 2 gets better, but I won't be reading it to find out.
