Spire of Blood (Spellheart Book 7) Kindle Edition

4.7 out of 5 stars 1,004 ratings

The portals are open and the orcs have come to the World of Sanctuary and Serenity.

Theo has rallied a mighty horde at his back. As the orc Wargod said to him, the Patriarch of the Hearthwood Clan can't save Deania, but the Chief of the Blackgorge Tribe can. With an army at his back, Theo plans to do just that.

The nations surrounding Deania have decided to attack. But while they're away, who's going to be protecting their homes?

Theo plans to lead the orcs who would have invaded Deania into the lands of their enemies instead. In doing so, he hopes to drive this enemy army away before Countess Frostweaver finishes whatever she's planning back in the capital.

For fans of cultivation, Gamelit, and adventure.

Note: Fixed a typo and accidently uploaded the wrong file. A dark elf version was out for a few hours, but it's fixed now.
New version has 100% less dark elves.

I refuse to play by their rules. Instead, I set out to create my own clan of powerful elves and gather a cast of companions to stand by my side.

With my wit, cunning, magic RPG-System powered spaceship, and newfound cultivation magic, I take on the odds stacked against me and rise to become a force to be reckoned with. I will not be underestimated. My name will be known throughout the Ten Thousand Worlds and my family will grow strong enough to rule the stars above us.

Join me on this epic journey of action, fighting, and romance. Together, we will conquer the Ten Thousand Worlds and uncover the truth behind my arrival in this strange new world. It's going to be a wild ride, but I'm up for the challenge. Are you?

Marvin Knight first got hooked on the harem genre when he picked up Spellscribed: Provenance, written by Kristopher Cruz back in 2013. Not long after, John Van Stry published Champion for Hire, and another favorite went up on his bookshelf. Marvin started writing a novel of his own back then.

After nearly thirty failed attempts and five years of work, Marvin finally manged to write the words, 'The End'.

Another completed book followed shortly after that, and at this point, he doesn't think he could stop if he wanted to. If you like LitRPG, Cultivation, Gamelit, Harem, Progression Fantasy, Comedy, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Action, and Adventure, then you and Marvin are kindred souls! Check out his books today!

This is a great continuation of all the other books I liked this one so far the best. P!ease keep up the great work

Well, what can I say? This series so far has been better than I expected. From the world building the author has done, he could expand it to a minimum of 20 books.
A system of 10,000 worlds and he has traveled to two, the elves and the orcs, briefly talked about 3 more, the dwarfs, the cat people, and the satyrs.
I brief explanation of Gods, dieties, demigods and other dimensional beings.
While the MC is strong, he is just not strong enough.

I want more! I don't start reading any series less than 3 books. I get attached and then get disappointed when there is no more to read. This series has been longer series wise and book wise than most I have read in the past year. The books average 500 to 600 plus pages and with 7 books so far, this series took me a week to read.

I love the cultivation aspects, the adventures, the intrigues, the erotic and loving scenes, the family interactions, the battles, and the city building aspects too.

Great conclusion to this part of the story. Not the end of the series of course, but good send off for the end of the Deanian war. Can’t say I’m the biggest fan of time travel/space folding cause it can get confusing for the reader but it was well done here. On to the next book!

So, changing my review because it was fixed. No idea why it had that weird alternate book with dark elves, but at least the proper book came through.
It's a nice wrap up of the battle for Deania. Some answers, some more questions. Some of the orc skeeviness is addressed at least.
A little... soso feeling about Melise's work boy being enough. I would've liked to see her have better agency.
I did like that Theo for being OP for a lot of it found his match for a bit and needed proper help.
Overall a good book, will love to read more as they come out.

I’ve been addicted to this series from the beginning. It got more involved with great intrigue and interesting characters and world building but never got so convoluted that you got lost in the story. I love a great OP MC, and this was one of the best I have had the pleasure of riding along with. The over the top submissiveness of the elves was finally laid out for us in a believable way that was almost tragic in the telling. The cultivation system in this series was very well thought out and executed it never got unrealistic. Can you tell I liked this series? Well yes, yes I did. I hope there is a follow up with Sam and Dean.

This was a fun read where our hero leads his forces to relieve the threats from all sides. It starts out with Theo feeling out his new powers and pushing himself to claim dominance on his unsuspecting enemies. We dive deeper, once again, into sime of the subtleties of interworld relations and the culmination of magical power throughout his universe.

This book really shows the difference in power between where he is, and where he began. But also shows us a few glimpses at what it would look like to be on a level away from mortality itself. I really enjoyed this book and will support this author untill he runs out of clever ideas.

    Good Job Marvin.

This felt like the longest book yet. It was jam-packed full of everything that we've come to love from this series. Intriguing plot, fighting, outwitting the enemies, kingdom growth, personal growth, a whole slew of new spells and abilities, and once again Theo pushing the boundaries.

There were a lot of hints dropped for plot points that could be coming up in future books and I couldn't be more excited. I'm very excited to see what happens with the various characters that we haven't had a lot of contact with.

Very excited for the next entry!

Another fantastic book in the series, loved everything from the Orc raids to the drunken queen and Amisra coming to Hearthwood to fulfill her duty, she’s too cute. Love the plot and how deep it is and that this arc was so enthralling, get it, that I kind of forgot about Theo’s mission to track down his friends. Can’t wait for the next book and Theo’s annual appearance at Moonbow!

The conclusion of the series is honest, not exceptional. There are a good number of open ends that allow sequels but the main story is concluded and this is good. I liked the light touch of the author .

I don’t do many reviews, every really but I felt that this book deserves one.

Expect for a slip up with some tech that was fixed as soon as realised the book is amazingly done, Marvin has an amazing way of leaving you wanting more without the hated cliffhanger that can be so annoying.

This book series is a Harem but unlike lots out there it has the main group that is there from the start while being fleshed out without being the stereotypical 2D Character.

The world building is consistent yet ever changing but within the boundaries that Marvin has set so there isn’t any ‘Random coz there the MC’ power jumps and all the abilities and powers are given and gained with reason and not just Because.

Thank you for another amazing book Marvin and can’t wait for the next one.
