    Married couple in a Dom/Sub relationship find pleasure in this quick novella.

    The entire story takes place over a few hours, and will take you an hour (or less to read).

    The couple has dinner with another couple, as soon as the other couple leaves the married couple start a scene, which involves a spice from the kitchen. They have hot sex, the story is over.

    I would not spend money on this story, but if you can get it for free, it's a quick read while you are waiting somewhere or have a few minutes it's to kill.

    Overall, I liked it well enough, but didn't think it was really good or worth more than 3 stars.

    I picked this up recently since I tend to enjoy Ms Harlem’s sexy stories. Turns out I’d already read it ages ago when it was part of an anthology. Don’t remember which one though. It was ages ago. This is a short, quick, kinky read. It’s basically a dinner party building anticipation to a hot little scene between Master and sub. I love the fact that Raif and Cass are in a committed relationship and Ms Harlem brings their commitment into the scene with trust and love. Layering the emotion into the kinky stuff makes it so much more satisfying that just bonking. I love that this is something that Ms Harlem does with her stories. Even when they are short like this one, there’s feeling and intimacy.

    This is my first book by this author and this is the first time I’ve read a book like this. I find it very interesting and I enjoyed the little novella.

    Holy hotness! I love this short story. I laughed, I cried (from the laughing), and I splooshed. This is a fun, Dom and sub, MF romantic / erotic story. I especially liked the attention to details in the dinner party. The colors, the scents, the food... Yum! Then there's this complex relationship between the main characters that was explained in only a few words. It made me want more stories with Cassandra and Raif.

    I wasn't sure about the kink in this story, but it was done so that the sub, Cassandra, consented to everything and enjoyed the heck out of it. No, I'm not going to do the ginger figging thing. I do like ginger in a lot of foods (i.e. tea, stir-fry, and cookies), but it's not going to be added to my sexy to do list.

    A few typos, and some spacing issues, but nothing was distracting me from this spicy little story.
