    I have really enjoyed the world building and building of characters and their relationships in this series. These short stories are a great addition to give us a little more of the world. If you are reading this series, I definitely think you should mix these stories in!

    Spooks & Specters is the first book in the San DeLain Short Story Collection. This is an introduction to the world of San Delain. I loved all these short stories so much. I love M.A. Church's San DeLain series'. There are two at the moment, Daemons of San DeLain and Dragons of San DeLain with more coming in the future. These short stories are a wonderful introduction to the world M.A. Church has created and if you have already read the two series' it's a great way to learn more about some of the characters. I would definitely recommend this book and the Daemons of San DeLain and Dragons of San DeLain as 5 star reads.

    This is the first book in the San DeLain Short Story Collection. There is absolutely no way you will be able to fully enjoy these stories without first reading all the books in the San DeLain series first. This book is amazing. I truly enjoyed it. I loved getting snippets of characters that I enjoyed so much in the earlier books. It also gives you added dimension to some scenes that you have already enjoyed in the series. The stories are very well written and a easy to read. I had a smile on my face the entire time I read the book. Another wonderful book by this author.

    Spooks is a collection of love stories from San Delain . It's got love gone wrong (Kit and Don), pining ( Axel and Terry) and when love goes right ( Kit and his dragons, Austin and his daemon). The author even gives us a teaser about the next series. There is one discordant note in the anthology, Isadora's story. Not a fan, maybe it's the spider.
    But the rest were wonderful. Great worldbuilding. Some steam. A little backstory, a little glimpse into the future. I think the reader must read the prior books to get the most out of the stories.
    I received an advanced copy of this book and this is my review.

    A collection of short stories that mainly feature Kit and his dragons Hudson and Connie. There were a couple of stories with characters from the San DeLsin books. I enjoyed them very much.
    Can’t wait for the next book in the series.
