    This was ok. It wasn't my favorite. I didn't like that the H was a v1rg1an. I can see how it might sound romantic that he saved himself for her but I'd rather he be more experienced.

    I didn't see the "grumpy" part of Jackson. Mina was sunshine though.

    I like that they had been stepsiblings for so long. I would have liked to know how old Jackson was and to have some more background scenes from their childhood. It's an ok quick read.

    This book had the potential to be swoon-worthy, but it fell flat for me. The story was written well, clearly planned out, characters are well-developed. Technically, there weren't many mistakes that paused the flow of the story for me. Those things will always give a book at least 3 stars for me. It can go up or down from there. I liked the premise, and the characters, even the antagonists. I actually would like to see if Cindy gets a story. The storyline wasn't super predictable. I actually anticipated more drama than there was, especially at the Climax point, but I hyped the angst up more myself than there really was warranted with the plot.

    This book read more dub-con than I'm comfortable in a romance novel that was toted as grumpy-sunshine. He flat-out lied about their relationship, took her virginity under dubious circumstances, had a chance to make it right and tell her everything and STILL chose to continue Tonkin where he seemed like a hero to her by "chartering a private jet" to t a ke her to the fashion show when it really seemed as if he was taking her ONLY because Harson and his dad said to.

    I really enjoyed the ending and how the parents handled everything. The epilogue was sweet. I just couldn't get past the dub-con.

When Mina has an accident and gets amnesia, Jackson ends up taking the opportunity to explore what could really be between them if they give it a chance. Of course the truth always comes out and when it does will their new relationship survive?
