Love the book! Nate is amazing. He is kick ass and still swoon worthy with major book boyfriend material in how he loves and ares for Skye and Noah. They are all adorable together and all the cute times with Noah. Wow. He is so cute and manages to make all the growly alpha men like puppies. So happy about sly and Lucy and hope that all gets worked out. Ugh. And can just see Zack and Ava are going to have fun. And have to wonder if the info about her son popping up has a connection to Zack since they used to be together. And I see a book about Celeste and zin, and wonder about Kanan and obviously zins sister after their altercation.

I must admit this is the first book I have read by this author . I loved it the characters are very well written and complex . Skye is one tough cookie , when things get bad she steps up especially when it comes to her son . She is strong willed but also you want to hug her and tell her that everything will be ok . Nate is strong and oh so sexy , he will do just about anything for his friends and family . He also has a dominate side to him especially in the bedroom . They make such a good team and Noah is such a sweet boy and he has a special power that lets him know things . I truly loved these characters
The author takes us on a journey . The beginning of the book is actually sad . But then it gets hot and sexy . There is intrigue and romance all rolled together in one book . You will laugh , cry and sit on the edge of your seat . There are times when your kindle will get all steamy . I read this book in an afternoon I just couldn't put it down . So if you want a sexy read full of intrigue check it out

This story has a bit of everything mixed all together for an explosive book 2 of the series.

Sad to say this writer has chosen to not use an editor for sentence and grammar mistakes. Her instead of she, their parent, instead of her (Lauren’s) father. Things that an editor should and would have caught before publishing a book. The basic story is good. Though I take exception to another blatant miscalculation the writer took in this scene, a mother of a sick child would never, ever leave a hospital, when her child was as ill as her child was. Not until he was home, would a real loving mother consent to leave her child, no matter who promised to take care of him.

After reading the first book, I wasn't sure that the second would be able to top it - but it sure did!!
This book is all about Nate, Skye and Noah's story. You are introduced to them in the first book where the attraction between Nate and Skye starts to grow. Noah is a poorly boy and Nate is his superhero.
The second book takes you on a roller coaster journey bringing new characters to the mix to fight against the Devine Watchers - who's focus is on securing Noah to use his special abilities.
This book is action packed, full of humour, and some very sourcy scenes! I loved that lots of new story lines were opened, adding to the intrigue of what might come and be unraveled in further books. I really was gripped towards the end and just had to know how the story ended. And I loved the little teaser for the next book. I knew Jace was a gooden really.
Highly recommend this book if you're looking for adventure and romance all in one. Bring on the third book! Well done Maddie.
