    This was another fabulous story by Zoe Ashwood! Everything o e I've read thus far had been a little treasure . this one brought the spirit of Christmas and its miracles early and I loved it. Jasper is a Kraken who is !looking for a mate someone to life, but he can't get a tone to stay once they find out what he really is. So being lonely, he decides to go on a dating app. This is where he meets Arielle. Arielle is just a normal woman do the best she can to get by in a little town in Maine. She doesn't talk to her family much and she has a an ordinary job to amen ends meet. She decides to try the monster dating app and have one night of passion. Her relationships have never gone well and she just hoping for something different. Wow when there's two meet and get snowed I over Christmas sparks fly and they really get to know one another. This is all about relationship building, trust passion and ultimately love. Its was so deliciously good and I can't wait to read the next one in the series.     This is a perfect holiday monster romance that carries just enough festive cheer to get you in the holiday mood while not being strictly a holiday romance. It’s filled with all the steamy spice (with lots of tentacles, peenpockets and excessive amounts of “fluid”) and surprisingly sweet wholesomeness that is the perfect combination for a delightful novella!

    Both the characters were sweet, slightly insecure but trying their best, and I found them both equally enjoyable to discover more about. I would actually love to read more about these two in the future if Ashwood ever decides to delve back into their relationship.

    “Stranded with the Kraken” is a great shorter read that’s got everything you could ask for for some tentacle spicy goodness; tentacles that he knows how to use, peenpockets, excessive “fluids” while sprinkling in some sweet fated mates insta-love, holiday festivities and humour. I would highly recommend this book for a light, fun read and it would be perfect for both monster romance lovers and newbies to the genre. 5/5 stars!
