    Stuff Dutch People Like is perhaps one of the best books I have ever read after having lived in the Netherlands! It is a great book that depicts the typical nature of the Dutch people and their customs and vices in a way that will make the reader laugh while reading. If you are an expat, a tourist or simply an individual who has an interest in learning more about the Dutch culture then this book will be perfect for you as it will make you laugh out loud, nod in agreement and gain new knowledge with every page turned.

    The author’s witty observations—the Dutch love for hagelslag or chocolate sprinkles for toasts for breakfast for instance—and the author’s honesty are well captured in this book. I was saying to myself again and again, ‘That’s so true!’

    This is because this book has a lot of humor while at the same time the author seems to love the Dutch people. This is not a book of stereotypes but a tribute to a nation of people who are proud, practical, and at times, confusing.

    The images and the real life stories also make this book even more appealing making this book ideal for anyone who has an affection for Netherlands or would love to know more about the people of Netherlands. I have already recommended it to my friends and relatives because it is simply so enjoyable!

    I guess anyone who reads this book will find it interesting and funny and may even feel like having a stroopwafel. ; ) I wholeheartedly suggest this one!
