She’s a pawn in a deadly game, and before it’s over, she’ll end up on the auction block.

Gabriella knew her wedding wouldn’t be traditional–after all, it’s an arranged marriage to two men. But when a bomb goes off at the reception, she realizes that her new husbands both have dark secrets. The kind of secrets that mean people want them, and now her, dead.

The get-to-know-you honeymoon is put on hold as Gabriella, Vicente, and Emiliano race against the clock to find their enemies, before their enemies find them. But when the mafia catches up with them, it’s Gabriella they take, and she may pay the price for her husbands’ sins.

Suspicion's Fire is a menage romantic suspense. It can be read as a standalone or enjoyed as part of the ongoing Masters' Admiralty series.

Love this Series, Great romantic suspense.
Gabriella Torrez is a Lagacy in the Masters' Admiralty. A philanthropist, her family's business is fashion. She has been called to the alter. Her soon to be spouses, Emiliano Ortiz, an attorney, and an up-and-coming politician, his focus the Mafia, and running them out of Spain. Vincente Coval, Security Minister to the Castile Territory.
Thier wedding reception is bombed. Who is the target? Gabriella uses her wealth to help refugees, she frequently uses smuggling to get many to safety. Emiliano has long supported his troubled older brother financially. His brother holds a secret that could destroy his political career. He is also a target of the Mafia for the laws he is trying to push through, making it easier to prosecute. Vincente, is a security officer, his entire career has been in the gray and black. An assassin. He will do anything to protect the Master's Admiralty. He does not feel he is a fit partner and tries to remain apart in his new trinity. Then Gabriella is taken. He and Emiliano will do anything to get her back.
Nikolette invades Eric's space. She is an authority on trafficking. Though she is the Admiral of Hungary Territory, she readily jumps in to aid in the rescue of one of their own. Eric has great respect and admiration for the young Admiral, she pulled him back from the brink of madness, in he hunt for Josephine's killer. He is starting with some dangerous feeling for her.
The newly formed MPF have a plan. Rescuing Gabrielle they learn one of their own, scientist, Talya Maes is being held. Living between two territories she feel through an administrative crack. Milo who had eyes on her at the rescue and Rodrigo, members of the MPF, are assigned to her rescue. Rodrigo is going under cover, to do so, his reputation has to be publicly destroyed,
Fast paced and steamy MMF romance. Could be read as a standalone, would not recommend it.

This book does contain trigger warnings. Please take heed of these warnings. The authors added them for a reason.

This is book 7 in the Master's Admiralty series by these two talented authors. It literally starts off with a bang, as in an explosion. This book will have your emotions all over the place since the emotions and actions will take you everywhere. It is downright scary in places and than you have the battle of the minds between Vicente Coval, Gabriella Torres and Emiliano Ortiz who are all very strong individuals married in a trinity. You may also learn a few words of Spanish that should never be said in polite company.

This book does take place in Spain so I was happy for this. I will readily admit that I may have sworn at both Mari and Lila in parts of this novel. And I do blame both of them equally for my not sleeping one night. But they are good for it.

I always love that these storylines are highly developed and the characters are complex and you slowly unpeel their layers. Yes, these novels are part of a series but they can all be read as stand alones. Personally, I do recommend reading them all but I do like reading a lot and I do like these two particular authors.

I did receive a copy of this novel in advance from both authors in exchange for a fair and unbiased review. But I do preorder their novels as soon as they are available so getting it in advance is a nice treat.

Suspicion's Fire is the seventh book in the Masters' Admiralty series. This series does need to be read in order. So, book six seemed like we got rid of the bad guy, but there are more villains lingering for the Masters' Admiralty. This book takes a darker spin into the world of human trafficking. You can skip the worst of the sales and rape if you skip chapters 16 and 17.

Garbriella, Emiliano and Vicente just got married as per the arranged triad custom of the Masters' Admiralty. Before the reception is even done, a bomb goes off while they did a photo shoot. Injured, but not killed, they are whisked away to a safe house while they try to figure out which of the three was the target or if it was aimed against the Masters' Admiralty as a whole.

This couple has to get to know each other, see if they can trust each other, while at the same time solving a mystery. It is a very complicated and emotional mess. This book is very intense and sometimes hard to push through but still interesting.

Please note that the dubious consent scene could be a trigger for those of sexual abuse, it was very hard to read that scene even without having that background.

This book was excellent in that Mari and Lila teamed up for another stellar book in this series. A triad where Vincente didn't want to be a part of it because of his past and position as a security minister. The marriage starts off rocky with a bomb as they try to figure out who was trying to kill one of them. As is typical and what makes me coming back for more, the story develops the main characters as they come to know each other and learn to become a solid triad, steamy, steamy scenes, with so much suspense and drama, you hold on to your seat as you can't stop reading. And then there is the developing relationship with Eric, The Viking. ***fans self***

The story of Emiliano, Gabriella and Vincent was so exciting. There were so many twists and turns. You will not be disappointed by reading this book. Loved it!

By far this was one of the more intense stories in this series and I gobbled it up in no time. The Trinity in this book starts of with a bang... literally.
Gabriella, Vincente and Emiliano have no time to enjoy one another knowing that someone is out there gunning for all of them, they just have to figure out who and why.
When Gabriella is taken and Emiliano is hurt, Vincente becomes even more focused on protecting them even more but now he has help that won't be denied.
This story tugs at all of the heart strings and keeps you glued to the pages till the very end.
Oooooohhhh boy I can't wait to see what's in store next for the Masters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Admiralty Masters menage
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on October 13, 2021
No plot spoilers
There are some potential triggers relating to kidnap and rape as well as physical torture. Make no mistake, this is a book dealing with dark subject material including kidnap, rape, abuse and dubious consent/non consent. The authors have provided a potential trigger warning in the blurb and it is justified.
That said, the book holds love and commitment too and the aftermath is addressed sensitively.
There is everything you expect from the series, love, passion, intrigue and of course menage.
The characterisation is good, with individual and believable personality traits.
The plotline is excellent, and leads to the next book in the series, it's too far away! I need to read it now!
I have no problem recommending the series but would advise reading from the beginning to obtain the best reading experience.
There are some sex scenes and some swearing.

I loved this story so much, a trio in so much trouble from the start of their married life.
Kidnapped, sold, raped takes a toll on Gabriella.
With the Mafia involved nothing goes to plan.
loved it
