I'm a self-proclaimed angst queen, and I write omegaverse and fantasy romance, most often with many lovers per lady. I have a strong preference toward enemies to lovers, bully, and dark romance.

The voices I bring to the paper draw from the distinct social settings in which I have lived, the many places I have travelled, and from my time in health care.

I maintain a commitment not to write pregnancy in my books (including epilogues). While I have nothing against the beauty of babies, my leading ladies find HEAs outside of children <3

Great Addition to the PoisonVerse
This book hooked me in from chapter one to the the last page! This is the start of a 2 part arc in the PosionVerse world and can be read without reading the other books, though there are some fun crossover Easter eggs if you have read the earlier books. Be prepared for a cliff hanger at the end of this one! There are so many elements of this book and the new cast of characters that I absolutely love. There will be parts that make you rage, tear up, laugh out loud, and having you on an emotional roller coaster! The book also keeps you on the edge of your seat, and had me guessing at every turn! I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a bully omegaverse read, especially fans of Lola Rock’s Pack Darling duet!

    This is the second series I’ve read from this author and both are brilliant. I like this bully rom because it walks the line of just enough bullying so that they’re still redeemable by the end. Great story telling and writing.

    Vex has been dark bonded and has to secretly go to her scent matched pack and get them to fall in love with her in order to get away from her dark bonded pack.

    I think king I had read the previous series before this I might have a better understanding of the dark bonding and a princess bond. Wasn’t a fan at first cause I just want straight forward bonding.

    What saved this for me was the love hate relationship between Vex and each member of the pack. I don’t understand Ebony. Does he want her or not? But he is freaking crazy and I am a fan of crazy.

    Very well written and enjoyable story. Due to the genre of this story I was hoping for something a little bit more racy, however, it depicts the start of an painful adventure of love and trust. This sweetheart experienced a lot of rejection and trauma throughout her development in the story. If you're looking for a slow-burn reverse harem with a tammed level of smut and grovel then I believe you will enjoy these two books. Happy Reading!

    This novel was slow. My heart broke for Vex who couldn’t be enough for the Crimson Fury pack. The cliffhanger was enough to make the next book fall on my reading list. In a lot of ways I liked Ebony and found his horrible nature interesting. Drake was a sweetheart and I couldn’t stand Love as pack lead. Rook was a diminished version of Ebony.

    Cliff hanger so I will immediately be jumping into part 2!!
    My heart hurts after reading this, Vex put so much effort into trying to win her freedom. Her orders were simple- the Crimson Fury Pack needed to fall in love with her. (Her plan was to maybe, possibly get a princess bite to be freed of her dark bond)
    There's so much trumoil throughout the book, but the high points balanced it out very well.
    I look forward to reading the rest of their story!

    Vex is an omega who has made some poor choices, first by recognizing that one of the packs she liked was a scent match, then talking about it on social media, bringing her to the attention of a pack that hates that pack. She is kidnapped and sold to the other pack, forced to bond them, known as a dark bond, because of it being forced on her. She is then forced to go into the pack house of her scent matched pack disguised as a beta and make them fall in love with her. The packs made up of Love, his brother Ebony, A rogue Alpha, Rook, and Drake. The study of the Alphas, their character development was so well written, poor Vex's terror and longing, all of it building to the cliffhanger ending, was so well done. I need these books as trophies for reading this duet. And the nod to Lola Rock's pack darling made me so happy. Well done Marie Mackay.

    I knew this story would be heart wrenching. Vex is trapped in a dark bond after she is kidnapped and sold. Her pack forcing her to go into the home of her scent match pack and make them fall in love with her. But they think she’s a beta and they’re all too broken to appreciate her as is.

    All except for sweet Drake they take turns tormenting her and telling her how unwanted she is.

    That ending had me sobbing! I’m immediately starting part two because there’s no way I’m going to bed not knowing how it ends!

    I’m a big fan of Omegaverse stories, but I wasn’t sure what to expect with this one. Well, let me tell you, I couldn’t have been more wrong.

    The way this story is written draws you in and makes you feel deeply connected to the main female character. She’s got such a strong personality, and those little glimpses into her thoughts throughout the book make you truly invested in her journey—not to mention the intriguing Alphas she’s surrounded by.

    If you’re on the hunt for an Omegaverse story with a bit of torture, some intense rejection, and a fiercely strong female lead, I’d highly recommend giving this one a read.

    Vex Eden found out a few months ago that she is Crimson Fury Pack's scent match, but the pack has made it clear time and time again that they want nothing to do with an omega. The problem is, that Vex is under the influence of a dark bond, a bond that allows her alpha to make her do anything he wants, and he wants her to pretend she’s a beta, and make them fall in love with her so he can have leverage over the Crimson Fury pack when he takes Vex back.

    This book reminded me of the Pack Darling duology, while also being completely different in the execution and plot. There is a similar vibe to both books, with an omega having to hide some secrets about herself, and living with alphas that don’t exactly want her around. The end is also full of angst, and I am so glad that the second book of this duology is already out so I can start it right away. This book ranks right at the top of the ABO I’ve read next to Pack Darling… I couldn’t say which one I liked most.

    Vex is strong, driven, and determined, and I love how resilient she is. She’s had a shitty life, and it only got worse in the past few months, but she still manages to get up every morning and try her best to enjoy her time with Drake and build bonds with the other alphas. She is quick and even snarky when dealing with the alphas, but that’s just what they need, and it shows that she still has spirit and spunk. She is also proud and impulsive when she’s emotional, which got her into trouble more than once, but it added even more angst to the book so I really can’t complain about that.

    Seriously, I am obsessed with this book, and if it wasn't for my baby needing me to care for him, and me being horribly sleep-deprived for the past 6 months, I would have spent the whole night up reading the sequel. 😅

I picked up book thinking it is completed duet series,now I have myself to blame because of excitement of reading blurb I didn’t check whether it was completed. Now coming to proper book it had all the elements which I love such as mystery,some dark themes,sizzling chemistry,redemption arc to follow up. I’m looking forward for next volume.
