What happens when you put a extended family together at a party when a massive storm hits cutting power, phone lines down, no cell site and downing tress so your trapped and where one of the party is universally hated, why murder of course. That's the predictiment Lilly finds herself. Finding who the murderer is with a house full of suspects makes for a intriguing story. Enjoyed this book immensely.

Good ploy development and the huge storm added to the sense of danger after the victim was found. Lilly Tweed solves again, this time with the assistance of a teenager. Overall a good afternoon’s enjoyment.

I love when I can’t guess who did it! Great setting, interesting characters. I love the descriptions of everything — my brain is filled with colorful high-drama images.

A few spelling and grammatical errors but the story was so interesting that I barely noticed them.

    J. New writes some great mysteries…..full of twists and turns, adorable cats, TEA (I love tea), and mysteries to solve. Can you solve it before the end? She gives clues and no cliffhanger endings. Each *can* be a stand alone….but, start from the first so you get the backstory. Curl up in a comfy chair with a cup of tea and enjoy…I did!

Product was fine. Driver DID NOT follow directions! Left package on step where it could have been stolen! In addition, note on gate requests deliveries to be secured.

I wish that I could double the number of stars. I love the Yellow Cottage mysteries. This new series is seriously good too. This third book is unputdownable. I have to admit that I did discover the culprit before the end, but this didn't spoil the book at all. Lilly is taken out of her usual setting of her teashop and is transported to a very high end B and B owned and run by some dear friends of hers. But what starts out as a happy celebration turns sour with a murder. The characters are interesting and very well portrayed. The editing excellent and Lilly as lovable as ever. I can't wait for N° 4!

This is a lovely cozy series. Not being a lover of tea in any shape or form it doesn't really distract from the great story lines and for any tea lovers i imagine the descriptions of various teas are an added incentive to read these delicious tales.

Good book. Gentle but with the solving of a murder. Lots of characters to aid with the evidence to varying degrees.
